He’ll need to keep working until you’ve successfully gone through AOS too. Can he start applying for a new job and stick with this one until he does?

Sorry to sound brutal, but if he couldn’t work due to injury and didn’t have sufficient savings, the authorities wouldn’t consider why. They care about you not being a public charge. You would need to find a co-sponsor.

Ye he could but no luck so far :( if he loses his job before my interview will we need to get his dad to co-sponser? he is self employed.

Hi Trina

The Squirrel did get his NOA2 and posted about it quite a ways back now.  Lucky them!

I'm at day 199 and feeling your frustration. Maybe we'll both get lucky today. Or this week.  Well, hope springs eternal. :P

Meanwhile, have a great visit with your fiance and best wishes to you both. (L)

For the K1, it depends upon when the interview is and when he has to file his 2017 taxes.

For AOS, if he doesn’t have sufficient funds, assets or his 2017 tax return displaying 125% above the poverty line, then he would need to find you a co-sponsor.

Hi All,

Today marks another milestone for me....210 days of waiting for a NOA2 or RFE (exactly 7 months)!!! I pray that I will hear something before this week is over to get my Christmas present or at lease before my birthday which is January 6th - I'm flying out to stay with  my fiancé for 11-12 days and I would really like to have heard something before then.

Congrats to all that have received their NOA2's - especially since we can now see and confirm that the tracker, email/ text notification and USCIS website are pointless and do not work. I hope that maybe I will get mine in the mail this week like some of you have.

Just asking everyone to keep us in prayer or in your thoughts (if you're not one to believe in prayer) as we still wait to hear something...anything at this point.

Good luck to everyone and congrats again!

Im sure you'll get yours soon. We got our hard copy December 11th. It took about the same time as yours. Its coming, im sure of it!
