Yes, we got the letter from his employer :) and tax returns. His salary is above the poverty guidelines (thank god) but he only has like $5000 savings. He wants to keep working till I come but I wish I could find out if its ok that he doesn't have a job by the time I move in.  I mean what if he was in an accident and couldn't work for a few months? They can't hold anything against him.

Thanks for replying! :)

He’ll need to keep working until you’ve successfully gone through AOS too. Can he start applying for a new job and stick with this one until he does?

Sorry to sound brutal, but if he couldn’t work due to injury and didn’t have sufficient savings, the authorities wouldn’t consider why. They care about you not being a public charge. You would need to find a co-sponsor.

Is AOS income needing to be 125 when you apply or until the AOS process is complete?

I made this year reqt easily but next, unlikely since I’ve been with him... yikes!

Can i schedule an interview even if i dont have the email or mail from USembassy/Consulate? But my status says "ready"? On ceac site. And also nvc stated the embassy accepted our case as expedited.

Let me know if you find out the answer to this. I'm wondering as well. I've heard some people schedule the medical and interview with just a screen shot of the "ready" status, but then other people have said they had to wait for packet 3 and/or packet 4. I think it depends on the embassy.

I emailed the embassy in Seoul to ask this question, and they said to wait for packet 3, but that's confusing since they actually post packet 3 online for Seoul.

Best to check with the embassy .i attended the interview on 8th Dec 2017 at Manila Philippines without packet 3 .

My friend is supposed to have an interview at Abu Dhabi, however she is not allowed to book an appointment and medical until packet 3 is sent by the embassy.

In Bangkok Thailand the embassy will schedule the appointment after Package 3 has been sent in.

There is no manual scheduling there.

I've been reading on VJ that a lot of people schedule their own appointments - looks like each embassy is different..

Hello May filers,

Im a November filer, but I decided to post this question in here since most of you all have been approved :)

I am so paranoid about getting a RFE even though I feel like I've submitted enough evidence. But Im a little concerned about the copy of the messages I sent. I only sent our Facebook conversations because the app we currently use to text, call, and video chat wouldve printed off as a 1390 page document!!! So my lawyer and I decided to use the Facebook messages because it showed that we have had contact since we met...but I wonder if that's enough. Here is the evidence I sent. Can you all tell me if I should print out the 1300+ page chat history and have my lawyer send that in? Or do you all think this is enough:

-Copy of our chats from Facebook messenger (that was like 200+ pages)

-Notarized affidavits from my fiance and I about the nature and timeline of our relationship

-Notarized affidavits from my mother, my 2 best friends, his brother, his sister, and his best friend about how they know us and their support for our relationship

-Copies of receipts from when we bought each other gifts

-Copy of the receipt from the dinner boat he proposed to me on

-ALL the pictures of us from our trip together

-Copy of the emails we have sent to each other since we first met

-Copy of the letter he wrote me when he asked me to be his girlfriend

-Copy of our Facebook relationship status change (from "in a relationship" to "engaged") and how many of our friends liked it.

-Copy of the plane ticket I bought to see him

-Copy of the stamp in my passport I got when I arrived in his country of residence

Is this enough? Or should I print off our 1300+ page chat history and have my lawyer submit it as a supplement?

Thanks in advance! And congratulations to you all! We are hoping to hear something by next April or May.

Lol I sent zero conversations and we were approved. I wouldn't want to share my private conversations with anybody. We also didn't sign any affidavits. We only sent pictures and like 8 screenshots of Skype (just where it showed the time we had Skyped for). Plus boarding passes, stamps and stuff.

I think you should be more than fine.

Omg no. Don't send those!

Letters of intent.

hard evidence such as travel evidences; boarding pass, ticket or hotel receipts and some pictures (when I say some I mean no more than 10)

maybe a few other things but don't make your whole thing more than 100p which some people would say even that's a lot (for me tickets took 40 pages so it ended up 90)
