Well, that's the short bit. Then currently 6+ weeks for NVC, unfortunately.

Someone with a NOA2 of Oct 31 got their NVC #: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=275877

:o:o:o

PRAYING WE ALL GET OURS SOON

If they made a shipment (finally)....does anyone know how many petitions they send? Do they send all finished petitions at once or is it by month? Meaning would they send the october-december noa2 apprived petitions to nvc at once? I dont know if anyone knows the answer. This is rough yall all this waiting! Just stay positive and hang in there! Also, does expediting work after noa2?

It doesn't seem to be all at once. My NOA2 is Nov 3, and when I talked to a tier 2 officer yesterday he said he "expects it should reach NVC before the holidays". Who knows though.

Someone got feedback that they’re sent in batches. Another got feedback that they wait and send ‘a few’ thousand. So who knows.

Also consider 2 federal holidays in November one of which could be a set shipping day, and the number of K1 applications in May, let alone April and June approvals.

Then consider that Naes has been reporting c.800 touched I-129f cases per week, let alone those that have been sent NOA2s without online updates

Then consider other approvals that CSC may send to NVC.

Then consider tighter background checks or possibly other policies recently implemented by either agency or by the Administration.

Also consider that they may send your approved case file to NRC by mistake.

So, again, who knows!

This seems to me a credible reason for delays. perhaps they are running approved applications again before forwarding on to NVC to ensure no errors slipped through.

My best guess they got their butts chewed Oct 25.
