I just called NVC again.  I'm 5 weeks post NOA2.

The operator said that USCIS waits to send cases to the NVC in batches of thousands so it can take up to six weeks.  Blah…blah…blah…did I mention this was after she asked for my receipt number then asked for the beneficiary's name and date of birth.  I was so excited because I know they ask this information when they have your case number….when I gave her the information she said "Oh, I think I typed in the wrong numbers, can you repeat your case number again?".  I have to laugh at this point to keep from crying, lol.

Keep the faith May filers and find a way to smile any way that you can.

There is actually a letter that I received from the NVC after NOA 2.

The letter came about 2 weeks  AFTER the date of the NOA 2 and states that the NVC received the approved I-129F petition from USCIS. The NVC will now forward the petition to the US  Embassy. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks.

I would love to post a copy of the actual letter but VJ says my file photo is too big.

I'm worried that since USCIS is waiting so long to send the cases, it'll create a big backlog at NVC when when finally send everything over. They act like they're doing us some kind of favor instead of respecting the fact that we are paying customers who deserve some kind of standards with the service they provide. I was so relieved to be done with dealing with USCIS for now when we got our NOA2 but now they wanna hold our cases hostage. I've had it up to here with their incompetent, inconsiderate asses.
