So I just got off the phone with a Tier 1 rep who I can say had to be the most helpful rep ever!! To make the long story short, after hearing my story about waiting almost 7 months and needing answers and crying on the phone, she listened, sympathized and put in 2 service tickets in for me. One of them she said will go directly to my case worker for them to give me an answer on what is happening to my case. She said that Tier 1 reps can actually do more than we know and can put in service tickets now while not waiting for the processing chart to update. She said that it's on that rep if they really want to help but because she hears the same story about the waiting every day all day she tries her best to help so that callers can get the answers they need.

So hopefully the first service ticket I will hear something in 3 to 5 days and the second one she said while the standard verbiage is 30 days, I should hear from my case worker before next Friday the latest.

Praying this works out in my favor!

Still praying for you!

Darn they told me 70 minutes, at 1pm est today, and i never got the call back. Now i feel like i have to do it all over again to try to get to one tomorrow

I think it probably matters when you call and how busy they are. I usually try around 3 or 4pm Pacific time.

Great to hear hope they respond. @Trinab80Hmmm...I wonder if a guy cried on the phone what they would do :D

This wait is really insane and now NVC delays on top of this.

I've been helping some other folks on FB group and they were asking what if NOA 2 expires before NVC number given?

I had not thought about that. The NOA 2 is only good for 90 days and USCIS is taking 45 and longer and some folks are being told to wait 90 days now for NVC.

Seems like NVC will have to update the info before sending it to the various embassies to advise it is not the petitioners fault for the delay in interview scheduling.

On another note the "Ball" is smashed.. :bonk:

So guys, as I mentioned yesterday, we contacted our Congressman rep to help us with the NVC. She contacted them and actually got the same response I heard yesterday when I called: It takes them up to 6 weeks to receive the petition from the USCIS. Then it can take up to 2 more weeks for them to process and have a new case number. So due to the upcoming holidays, the Congressman office asked us to contact them if we don’t hear back from the NVC until January 5th. I do hope we hear from them before that!!

I just wanted to update you guys. Good luck to all of us! <3

Ok I just need to vent a little....... :help:I am now at 197 days waiting for a NOA 2 approval. My NOA 1 was 05/30/2017

Why in the hell is it taking so long ??? I have called them and I'm getting the same answers as you all. My paperwork is at the California Service center and my Fiancé is in the Philippines. This should be a easy one!  I even have a high paid lawyer, thinking it would have made the process faster.  The stress level is real here !!!

Thank you for listening :(

FINALLY!!! NOA2 approval! Day 224. What a rough road! It took 25 days for the adjudicator to respond from the RFE received date in case anyone is interested.

My fiancé wanted to get married first but I said the K1 process would be so much faster...boy was I wrong!

Congratulations!!!  :)

Thank you...I haven't posted in a while. My fiancé was heartbroken because of this waiting process and I couldn't do anything about it.

We're all in this process together and all know the pain of waiting and waiting all too well... best of luck on the next steps!  :)

Has anyone with a NOA2 approval in November receive their NVC number yet? We were approved Nov. 10. My fiancé wants me to call, but I think it is futile at this time. If I am on hold for an hour and they just tell me the same junk as always, I worry that I will get more hopeless and frustrated. I thought waiting 180+ days for the NOA2 was bad enough....this feels worse as we were ready to get everything done and start our lives.

PS: Hang in there NOA1 folks. Ours came with no update to the app (still shows us as "received") No email or text....just hard copy in the mail. So don't stare at that useless app for too long, it may never update.
