Most likely though I wasted my time.

Im May 22nd too, somehow when I was on 170th day my inquiry went through but trust me no use.All they said month ago is tha they are currently processing our case.I think all of us that are left are just a matter of the day cause we are all probably just pending background check.But it's still hard when I see people even from July getting approved and we are taking this long,and I'm just gonna punch someone if I hear one more be patient ugh.

I just turned in my inquiry to my congressman's office. I submitted it in person, and the receptionist gave me the business card for the person who'll be handling my case. The case officer (not sure if that's the correct title or not) emailed me an hour later confirming my fiance's name, and saying she would contact NVC and USCIS for me. Not sure if it will help or not, but in the past (2012-2014) when there's been significant delays, people have had luck using their congressman's office for help. Fingers crossed.

I understand...Having to call them sucks too...Have you tried contacting an Ombudsman? We actually contacted an Ombudsman and representative a few days before we got approved. I'm not sure if contacting them helped or anything but I guess it was worth a try.

Well technically our case wasn't outside of processing times either but we did get a confirmation letter from the Ombudsman and a call from the rep.

I have just called and they didn't receive my app. Although I found a very nice worker that told me what to do, to email asknvc@state.gov and add a copy and some data about my NOA2. I have told him that I have already done that and he said "Do it again, do not worry, I will see" (IDK maybe he is with the email).

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
