I'm 6 days behind as I just hit 203 today. I'm trying to hang on but truthfully, I'm so over it! The way things are going between USCIS and NVC severe backlog, it will damn near April before he gets here which is almost a year from we filed. This K1 visa process has turned into the CR1 Spousal Visa process.

I got through, but the response was the same "it can take up to 6 weeks", and I said "Well it'll be 6 weeks this week on Thursday..." and the rep just said "yea...."

question! when we talk about 2 weeks before start to call NVC  you mean 2 weeks from the date you received the hard copy of the NOA2 or 2 weeks from the "notice date" on the NOA2? i got mine on Dec 9th but the actual date is Dec 4? so i should call two weeks from the 4 or the 9? please advise. Thanks

You might expect to wait longer than that. Tomorrow will be 6 weeks from my NOA2 date and still nothing from NVC.

Try calling them and send an e-inquiry. We are also May 24 filers and first got an RFE and then approval right after calling the uscis. ✌️✌️Good luck!

Hi,

It takes about a day or two for the bank to confirm to the embassy that you have paid the fee. The receipt number is part of the "printout" that the bank put on the payment slip that you presented. (https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/).
