I've called twice this week (we were approved on Monday 12/4) and they only read on the site that my case was received and wouldn't transfer me to any one else. Then my noa2 came in the mail. Everything still says received. I bet even if I called them Monday that if the app/scan still says received, they'd tell me received, even though we're approved.

Respectfully tell them you are not satisfied with the answer and need a 'status update clarification.' They will then transfer you

While I'm not gonna get my hopes up, when I get back home tomorrow after visiting family this weekend, I will check my mailbox because I remember 12/4 being a light day with production from USCIS. But I wonder if cases are still showing received on the tracker and USCIS website, would they show received in tier 1's systems too since their systems seems to be running on the same server?

Your thoughts?

Tier 1 doesn't know, but Tier 2 definitely knows (at least in our case) because when my fiance called back in October Tier 2 told him we got RFE on 14th of Oct but that it hadn't been generated yet. Our case got updated with RFE 10 days later on the 24th, so they do know before it gets updated.

Seconded. Yesterday the tier 1 told me what I already knew, the tier 2 said 'it shows here at 12:08 an approval notice on your case was sent to the printer.'

Don't be scared hun!!! Trust me, I'm not gonna set myself up thinking it's coming just to let myself down. I'm gonna go about having a good time with my family and try not to think about it. If it's in the mail that would be awesome but I'm not gonna give myself anymore anxiety.

Crazy thing is right now both USCIS case tracker apps I use say my IP address is blocked which is the first time this has ever happened to me. Currently visiting my mom so I'm on her IP and not mine back home and we live in 2 different US states.

If your IP is getting blocked try this service https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/

It costs you $40 a year but you can be anonymous while on the internet

Yes but thats that's tier 1 info, we got to talk.to tier 2 and they say its currently being reviewed, only yesterday we didn't call so there is a slight chance it got approved yesterday without online update, but definitely not before that otherwise I'm pretty sure they would tell us.

I have a B1B2 visa (my country doesn’t allow ESTA) and I have visited twice since we received NOA1, but my question was more specific to visiting once you receive the NOA2, have you also done that? Thanks!

I don't see a problem if you have NOA2. If you were able to visit with NOA1 and your visa. I believe your status has not changed (from what I know). I would recommend taking some proof of your application for K1 and explain if you are questioned that you are waiting for the K1 visa. explaining that you are just here to visit and plan to return soon for the interview and to complete the process.

Does anyone else have any experience with this?
