I really don't feel like repeating myself with this answer because it's depressing enough, but basically....I'm still waiting. No NOA2, RFE...Day 283 and counting.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

So a week and a half ago I went to see my district congressman this is 2 weeks after terminating my lawyer's services. The representative at the congressman's office wrote a letter to CSC and submitted it the same day 2/16. He called to f/u the letter on 2/23 but was told the same b.s. we've heard a million times about the case is still being reviewed by an officer. He made another f/u call yesterday and was informed I was approved that same day. I re-read the email like 10x. Its all surreal...I thought I would be more excited and don't get me wrong I am overjoyed but this feels bittersweet. I've waited a long long time with other unfortunate souls for over 9 months for a NOA2 approval(which I haven't received the hard copy yet) so I'm afraid to be happy. I want to keep positive but this has been such a long & drawn out process. I haven't been on VJ for a while but I want to wish all those approved congratulations and those still waiting to keep on pushing. I know sometimes we feel like giving up but when one door closes kick open another. Good luck to all and have a great weekend.

Congratulations!!!! Finally one of us Jamaican petitioners moves on!!!! I'm really happy to hear that your local congressman helped you. Mine, however, didn't!

Welp....like they say...one is the loneliest number!!!!

Ridiculous !!! Please stay strong just three weeks I was with you, one of the last 4. In those three weeks, everything zoomed and it’s ready for Interview we just waiting the 48 hours to schedule but it did list the first available as March 7, so once the payment posts it wont be long, them zooooooooom you are there. Please hold on to that hope and know it will come soon.

I remember the encouragement you gave me and I want to be that for you.

Did they request additional documents?? Or are the 10 days they say on the documents the beneficiary received at the Embassy?

They told us to wait up to 10 days to receive my passport with visa. So I think they were just reviewing our documents and then they issued the visa. They  did not request additional documents, information or evidence.

I got my NOA2 on Feb 8 and in less than 20 days I had a NVC Case Number and Invoice Number. Then I had checked the CEAC and it said in Transit, a few days later it said Ready for Interview !!! I did the DS-160 and it printed out an Instruction sheet to pay the fee at the bank with a Code and Payment Number. It says to wait within 48 days for the payment to process and that will open the calendar for appointments. However it listed the first available as March 7, and we can’t take that because he hasn’t done the medical yet. We will call to schedule that tomorrow. It’s moving so fast now.

Im so sorry for @Trinab80 I’m in the same situation except we 40/31 so im two years older and I understand because time is not on our side. I’m holding your hand and crying with you because I so know your pain with the process and with fertility concerns. ❤️

I got my Case number this morning when I called. They said they will send it out and the consulate should have received it within one week.

Is the DS-160 an online sheet we fill out? OMG so after the consulate receives it, it just moves super fast right?

Should i have him get anything ready in his part?

Now, I am getting excited!!!!
