@AK&JO @Minori @watahana87

Did you guys translated everything to english? Or Japanese is also accepted?

like for example for Koseki?

I know now I should translate everything that is not Japanese... but I don't know what to do with Japanese ones.

I made translations for Koseki tohon and certificate of divorce by myself, there are many examples on the internet.

Hi folks

The Immigration Officer at the airport told me and fiancee that the USCIS will send us something in the mail after we handed over the K1 Visa packet to him. Anyone know what is sent?

"Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and

petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus."

Please help!

Keep reading and hearing different stuff about CFO class in Philippines.  Fiance is 22, does she really need the parental advice letter and notarized?

I mean since you have the interview at the embassy how long it took to get the passport with the visa? Please advise? Thanks

Sorry I misread! My interview was Feb 14th, but my medical hadn't arrived so there was a bit of a delay.

think it depends on each couple's financial status so just FYI but as of Feb 5th at the interview, I submitted:

1)copy of my fiancé's 2016 federal income taxes

2)W-2s

3)letter from my fiancé's firm by his firm's letter head with head of HR

for the supporting document for affidavit of support (I-134).

Our immigration attorney said it might be nice to have 2017 taxes but my fiancé didn't have yet so I didn't bring but still passed the interview.

I strongly hope my VJ friends @Minori and @watahana87 gets visa soon after submitting additional info!! It might be nice for you to call Embassy call center to hurry up the process...

So, how they send your passport with fiancé visa after you approved? Letter pack, kakitome or something?

Didn't they ask you to bring the letter pack (can't remember the exact name) that's what they wanted from me last time.

I can’t believe how fast it’s moving from NOA2 which I waited almost 9 months for. But we went from NOA2 to NVC to In Transit to Ready for Interview in less than 3 weeks. I’m doing the DS-160 now and I will go to Bank and Pay the Free with the DS-160, NVC Case Number and Invoice Number and Schedule the Interview. We will make the Medical as soon as we have a date. Wow thank goodness it’s moving now.

@Trinab80 please don’t worry. Soon and then it will move fast. I know how you feel and I hope you hear soon. 😘
