Hi all,

I've been reading back thru and I'm not sure if anyone has a thought. My NOA2 came in and then I got my case number. On Feb 9 my NVC case changed to say "Ready" so I sent my documents off to the Montreal Consulate even though I haven't received a Packet 3 letter. They replied:

Now I see my case was updated at NVC on Feb 15, but I still haven't received a Packet 3. Do I send my materials again, or do I wait for the letter? If there's a better forum for this, please let me know. Thanks so much.

Hey! My timeline is up to date and as you can see it took us a while to get packet 3 which we got on 2/9 via email. Our case first said ready 2/2. On 2/9 Our Ceac tracker updated again and that's when we got packet 3. Our packet 4 came 2 business days later. Good Luck!

Yes NVC back up and running. NOA2  2/18. Called and Representative gave me my case and Invoice Number today 2/13. That’s 13 Days so that great. He said to give it 2-3 days before doing the DS-160 and making the payment at the bank. 😀

@Trinab80 and @TeeSam I’m still here waiting with you guys and Thank Goodness NVC is moving just in time to have us move right along and not be stuck again. Hopefully this week ❤️

So I am really confused and lost with what just happened.  We got our NOA2 and we got the NVC status at ready.  So I am still waiting on the word on packet 3 when she received it.  But now my USCIS case is asking for an RFE. I am just so tired of this craziness.  Is there any clue to what of might just happened?

Sooo it happened before...

call them and ask what the h-?

last time it happened they said rfe was a system error and the noa2 was legit.

I have done as much and they said that I will have to wait 15 days for the letter to be delivered and that my NOA2 will be nullified.  Once I get this cleared I will get another NOA2.  I asked her about the expiration date and she said I wouldn't have to worry about it since it will not matter when I get this approved again.

Huh. Ok that's a first then.... this is all so ridiculous. I'm so sorry you're going through it now...

did you try making an infopass appointment? I think the other member did it that way.

Thank you for your words.  I am afraid I do not know about the info pass appointment or what it is.  How does it help and how can I request(?) one?   Thanks

Yesss send it again lol and every-time your case updates. Don't pay much heed to that e-mail. That's what I did and got the packet 4 2 days later. All the best. :)

I doubt that this is the week I get anything from USCIS. In fact, I'm sure I'm not getting anything before this month is over. Not being a pessimist, just being a realist. I'm just over the whole thing!

Good luck to you on the rest of your journey!
