I waited 8 days (because of the weekend, that left 5 clear working days as suggested). You should be ok according to what they suggest, maybe they were just particularly busy this week and last.

Thanks very much I wanted to do the full 5 days to get myself to the US quicker but didn't want to risk my stuff not being at the embassy hopefully I've left enough time

Today makes exactly 9 months of waiting (270 days) and still no NOA2 or RFE. Only 3 months away from a year of filing our petition and I see no hope of hearing anything any time soon.

Congratulations to all those moving further in the process!! Wish you all the best!

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

@Trinab80, I know this process can be so discouraging. Please do not lose hope--I'm praying for and thinking of you and Reni every day. You have been so positive and supportive to so many others on this forum and have provided a wealth of information- - the good you do everyday is coming back to you X1000. Stay positive - keep the hope - - when you don't feel so positive or hopeful we are here. But your day is coming--I know it! I am claiming this for you and the rest of the May and June filers still waiting. @TeeSam and @Trinab80 you guys are officially May team -STILL STANDING!! Hugs.

you had RFE so that obviously added to the wait but the good thing is they are actively working your case. Hang on there.

In the mean time you can do her DS-160 NOW  if you haven't already.  No need to wait for NOA 1 or MNL/MNC for that.

Hi TrinaB, 270 days is not a milestone we were expecting here. That is crazy to say the least.

It can't possibly drag on much longer. They run reports at CSC and I'm sure you are on the "Why the h.e.l.l. hasn't this case been worked yet?" report

Someone needs to get off their butt at CSC

Positive vibes your way.

We have a great west indies restaurant out here in Seattle and if ever you and your honey bunny there make it out this way dinner is on us!

I will definitely keep that in mind because when he gets here we have plans to travel everywhere and anywhere...never been to Seattle and always open to going somewhere new and trying different things.

The last time I got some type of answer from a Tier 2 rep, they said that my case was assigned to an officer on 2/5/2018, but they also said that it was put in queue on 1/12/2018 and gonna only another 2 weeks tops. I just saw on the USCIS that my last of many inquiries has been responded to and completed which can only mean that the response letter that I'll be getting in the mail in a few days will say the same thing my last inquiry said which is they cannot provide a timeframe on when my case will be reviewed. I've contact all State Senators, congressional representatives and the Ombudsman office - no response back from them either!

The only thing left to do is to withdraw the petition which at this point would make no sense but trust me it has crossed my mind a few times. I can honestly say that there's a part of me that is jealous and a bit envious of everyone here that have surpassed us to the point where this forum will be obsolete because you all will be going into the AOS Forum pretty soon if not already. But I am still happy for everyone here whose leg of this journey is over!!!

So I guess the only thing I can do is stop thinking about it and let things be and if it comes then great but if not, then the days will be no different than the days of the past.

You are actually at day 267.  They use the "received" date as the tracking date.  I know, that is very little comfort but you haven't "officially" hit 270 yet.  I hope you dont.  Today may be the day.  Monday is a holiday.

My received date is May 23rd, my notice date is May 25th. And the tracker goes by the 23rd and says today is 270 days.

And I SERIOUSLY doubt today being my day because of the holiday. Half the people probably didn't show up to work today.

But thanks for the optimism!! :)

No worries, I knew you were. I told VJ wants us to put our notice date on our timeline which is why you see 5/25.

Any news on your end yet?
