what's the revision date on your I-797 form (bottom right of the page) ? Mine says REV. 08/01/16

See below. i just dont see why they would say two different things, and i doubt it would at discretion of the Officer, you would think they have a set template.

These guys don't even have a set template for status updates..  I saw so many saying the same thing with wrong wording...

I wouldn't be surprised of that mess either.

@K-1Applicant2017 is at day 41. @Kirin2002@vml@McNair Are at day 40. Let’s see how their enquiries go over the next few days..

42 days is 6 weeks huh? 6x7 days? I'm looking forward to reading about what nvc will do once @K-1Applicant2017 calls . Probably like @Naes said...two more weeks to find the noa2 in order to assign a case#.

So I just got off the phone with NVC tomorrow will be 6 weeks. They said wait until Monday, maybe they will receive it by Friday. She said they get pallets of mail in daily. Have to sort through it and scan them. If it doesn’t come by Monday she said I can email NVC research@state.gov then they will research it.

But she did stress to wait until Monday. Oh and kept saying it can take an additional 2 weeks to process once received. I’m like first recieve it already!

Maybe they know what day they are expecting the CSC delivery..

Oh believe me "two different things" (or more) is SOP at the uscis.

My I-797 says sent to NVC also and says 2 to 4 weeks. But NVC says no that’s wrong it’s up to 6 weeks that UCIS needs to update the form! And it may have been sent as stated but sitting in the mail room at NVC. Pallets come in daily she explained! So probably there just haven’t gotten to mine or ours yet.

No, sorry..It’s how I do my calculations in my head. Call me a weirdo, but it’s how I taught myself to memorise my times tables in school (with my abacus!).

I wonder if it's actually six weeks because of a policy change or is it temporary because of the unprecedented amount of petitions this year?

Idk they did say that UCIS needs to update the form because it’s up to 6 weeks not 2-4 as my I-797 says. Frustrating waiting

ABACUS! Dude how old are you? Don't answer that. It's the first thing popped in my head.
