Congrats to the recent approvals @JohnAna05823 Nine months for I-129F approval is just insane. @Trinab80 I know yours can't be far behind.

Just wanted to shout to the visa the world here that Ling ( all 4 ft. 9 inches of her) arrived here in Seattle 9 months after NOA 1 and 3 months to the day after her interview.

Went from the airport straight to Jollibee. You other Filipino couples will know what that is.:D

Anyway off to Social Security Office tomorrow.

Stay safe people and thanks for all the support

Steven

thank you again!

First we submitted DS-160, then paid fee personally following the instructions on the website , then scheduled med exam ( case number was ready Jan 26 but we could make an appointment only Feb 2) and after that we scheduled interview date (the dates for the interview were available even in January but because of medical we should wate ). as Feb 2 was a Friday we could get our result only on Monday 5 ( the lady on a phone noticed that when we made an appointment so it was very helpfu ). We paid for med exam in medical center

We do get our ssn right away. You just have to wait until your I94 is on the system, cause you have to take a copy of that to the ss office. I applied for my card and got it in my mail 3 business days later.

we can apply for drivers license, the only problem is that in most states, including the one I'm living, our drivers license is only valid until our visa expiration date on I94, which is 3 months after we get in the US. After that, you need to have EAD in hands for them to get you a new expiration date. So I did not get a drivers license yet, I'm waiting for my EAD, which shouod take about 3-4 months.

Hi,

My fiance is having trouble uploading her picture to DS-160. Anyone have any tips or know of any issues? First it wouldn't upload, now it tells her the proportions are wrong but she did it correctly with the photographer? Thanks!

Hi,

If the photo is too small (too closely taken), then use something like this to enlarge it first:

Hope this helps.

Hello all! I called USCIS today and spoke with a tier 2 officer who told me our APPROVAL letter was mailed yesterday and to expect it sometime next week. I literally cried during the phone call. It hasn't updated online or on the app. I will just wait until I am holding the letter in hand to truly believe, because it just doesn't feel real.

Congratulations!!!!
