Do you know if you can do the interview in Japanese? My fiance does speak a little English but his Japanese is much stronger. 

Sorry I don't have any information on whether interview can be done in Japanese.

 

I'm sure Embassy will answer so would be nice if you email or call them!

I think he can.

 

not for k1, but even for my visa interview before they started in Japanese until they realized I can speak in English (and I mean believe me I look nothing like a Japanese person)

 

he may be asked though how you two are communicating.

Hello Kiddos! I just received an email saying that my case has been sent to the consulate, it has a bar code and the information and uscis and NVC case numbers. 

Once i receive this what I am suppose to do??? wait for the consulate to reach out or can i schedule medicals?? what do i do next??? please help!

Yes I called to ask if the website was down because I haven't been able to track my case on the tracker she said the website was working fine but that the tracker was not available for k1 visas that my case is in route to the embassy and that I should contact the embassy directly and I told her but what about the "in transit" or "ready" status and she just repeat the same again

  • 01/23/2018 - NVC received and given number
  • 02/01/2018 - Left NVC
  • 02/08/2018 - Consulate received
  • 02/12/2018 - Medical
  • 02/23/2018 - Interview - G22A: new passport requested due to name error
  • 06/03/2018 - New passport sent back to US Embassy
  • 14/03/2018 - Visa in hand
  • 15/03/2018 - POE (LAX, CA)
