Hi! We are getting closer to the end of this process! I'm thinking about flying out to be there for the interview, and have her fly back with me. My concern: She already filed the DS-160 that she'll be traveling alone. Has anyone read anything about whether or not we can change the DS-160? Should we be concerned about saying she's traveling alone? I tried finding answers here in the forum, but they all seemed to be a few years old. Thanks in advancd!

Thank you!  :)  We did not receive an I-94 form at the PoE; actually just downloaded it today from the I-94 website ( https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home ) and I don't see a status/designation other than K-1.  I know that that's not helpful but... it's all I've got....

Welcome back to USA. Hope you had a good flight.

Keep her warm there LOL

It does not matter if you travel with her or not. No need to change the DS-160

When she goes to the airport all she has is her Passport and visa. It does not list in passport who if anyone she is traveling with.

So bottom line don't worry about it.

Great if you can attend the interview with her though.

Some embassies do NOT allow so check first.

Manila is OK!

Unless there is an organized group of women traveling to marry you, she is traveling alone.

@Trinab80 @Maria1989 I had hoped to stop in to see some good news from you guys but it looks like our cases are still being reviewed. I'm just coming back from Jamaica so I do have a renewed strength in our petition getting approved. I've called USCIS again and told again there is nothing wrong with my petition. No RFEs, no security alerts, nothing and the officer doesn't understand why it hasn't been approved already. I'm like if you don't understand and you work there I'm even more in the dark. Anyway hopefully the officers who have our petitions will do the right thing....approve them and stop holding the cases hostage on his desk.

Don't forget me too!  :(

LOL...

The only ones that are still waiting are me, @JohnAna05823, @Maria1989, @TeeSam, and I think @NateAndJessica.

Just the lonesome 5 squad! Hopefully, something "magical" will happen this week. @JohnAna05823...I put my bet on you being the next to get your approval since you're the only one that actually has had their case "touched" and reviewed" once!

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Fiance attended interview this morning and was asked to submit DS5535, pushing us into Administrative Processing.  Does anyone know anything about this form (why we are being asked to submit) or the AP process?

I'm sorry, how frustrating. Some get out of AP relatively quickly, but it can mean a couple more months of waiting while they run more security checks.

This is about the specific form: http://www.nafsa.org/Professional_Resources/Browse_by_Interest/International_Students_and_Scholars/Form_DS-5535,_Supplemental_Questions_for_Visa_Applicants/

This is about AP in general: https://pennstatelaw.psu.edu/sites/default/files/documents/pdfs/Immigrants/Administrative-Processing-FAQ.pdf

I believe they started this from last year (result of san bernardino attack); if the fiance is from middle-east or any of the countries on the watchlist, they ask their social media accounts and travel history so that they can identify the threat profile
