Anyone know what " ON-FORWARDED " means as a 2go visa tracking status?

3 days ago  2go said  on-forwarded, then it said passport has been accepted from sender...then today it went back to  on forwarded...

Just got an email my case is supposed to be adjudicated within 45 days. I’m so over this.

45 days??? That is ridiculous. At this point a few months longer and an IR-CR1 visa would have been processed (at least during the good old days of fiance and spousal visa processing times). This is a paid service --utterly ridiculous. How are you holding up? You and @Trinab80 stay in my thoughts and prayers every day. Your day is coming.

@Trinab80 @Maria1989 I had hoped to stop in to see some good news from you guys but it looks like our cases are still being reviewed. I'm just coming back from Jamaica so I do have a renewed strength in our petition getting approved. I've called USCIS again and told again there is nothing wrong with my petition. No RFEs, no security alerts, nothing and the officer doesn't understand why it hasn't been approved already. I'm like if you don't understand and you work there I'm even more in the dark. Anyway hopefully the officers who have our petitions will do the right thing....approve them and stop holding the cases hostage on his desk.

How long did it take to get to "Ready"? We are "at NVC"

I'm not actually sure. We weren't able to check the case tracker every day after we received the e-mail that NVC was forwarding our case to Rio on 1/17. However, on the case tracker it says the last update was on 1/18, so if that's when they changed it to "Ready" it would have only been one day after receiving the e-mail.

K1 Visa approved: 3/20/18

AOS Filed: 5/23/18

NOA: 5/31/18

Biometrics: 6/20/18

Request to Expedite EAD: 6/21/18

  • Combo Card received in mail: 7/18/18

AOS "Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview": 8/13/18

Combo Card renewal sent: 5/13/19

They are telling me that we can do nothing until we receive a letter from NVC outlining the next steps to take. Did you receive such a letter? We feel like we should pay the visa fee or something. Already submitted the DS-160. Appreciate your feed back!

DS-160 and the visa fee are separate. You need both to schedule the interview, but one does not depend on another; it does not matter which one you do first.

The fee needs to be paid at the bank in-person. It cannot be paid online or through an ATM; at least not if you do not have an account with that particular bank already. You cannot pay through another bank ether. It has to be specific bank and specific currency. The rates are only good for a few days, there is an expiration date on the payment form.

thank you again!

stupid question.... the sealed envelop that supposed to be opened only by immigration officer at POE... Does it at least have visa holder name printed on it? In cases where kids are coming on K2 visa there will be multiple envelopes and its nice to know who each envelop belongs to...

POE last night at about 9 PM in Boston; we are, finally, here together in the US!!!!  :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Congrats!!!!!!!

Quick question please :)  The I-94 form you got at POE - what does it say for status/designation? I am curious because that "status" apparently makes a difference for students who apply for a financial aid. I wonder if my stepson will be study right away or he will need to wit for AOS to be completed before he qualifies for financial aid

Thanks!!!!

Thank you!  :)  We did not receive an I-94 form at the PoE; actually just downloaded it today from the I-94 website ( https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home ) and I don't see a status/designation other than K-1.  I know that that's not helpful but... it's all I've got....

The only thing that immigration did in my fiancee's passport is write "single entry" on the Visa.  I don't think that the I-94 is something given at every PoE. There is a stamp from Homeland Security in her passport on the page opposite the Visa saying "Admitted BOS" with "K-1" written in there... perhaps that's what you're looking for...?

Thank you so much for your help! Apparently the process is different than I though...
