Basically, the congressional path was a waste a time, which I kinda figured because I'm thinking that will be the same thing I get from my inquiry.

They were nice and did send me the response.  When I did that the first time it was still "within normal processing times".  Now that has passed so I will try (or hopefully not have to) the congressman's inquiry again...

I just got off the phone with Tier II.  They said that they can not retrieve any information until the existing service requests are answered.  She said call back in 30 to 45 days if I dont hear anything.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

You're kidding! I'm living in hodogaya!! It is so sad to move back to Tokyo!!  Love Kanagawa services it's way better!

i asked them saying I have 3 different type of document all has case numbers and my name and birthday, and if it would make a difference they said any is ok. Because I heard in another topic that people who apply from overseas uses noa1 because it takes months to get the clearance.

hodogaya is so random 😂

We used to live in Kohoku-ku!! I <3 Kanagawa too, but he moved back to his parents home to wait for the visa. The 10-day number is what we got from the website, so maybe it might be less when we actually go!

@Naes,

Good question - Both my fiancé in US or our immigration attorney have not received any letter from NVC after the status got ready.

Our immigration attorney saying me she supposed to get that from NVC and frustrated that she didn't get it for my case...

So should be other case that fiancé or attorney gets that but our case still nothing till yesterday...

Mine was emailed to me directly from NVC, in case that helps!

Almost 9 months later. But at least they gave you a reason for your delay. If they told me that it could make the waiting a little easier to deal with believe it or not.

Just got an email my case is supposed to be adjudicated within 45 days. I’m so over this.

That's unfortunate...Are you sure you're not under some AP at the NVC stage? There was someone who went through this I think but I hope that's not the case for you...I don't think a delay at NVC is that common now though, a lot of cases seem to be dealt with quicker if you look at the NVC spreadsheet. I hope it gets sent to the embassy soon :wacko:

I called NVC they told me they had received a crazy amount of cases from CSC and that they are working from 7 am to midnight to enter validate and submit the cases to the embassy.

I asked if I could expedite the case somehow and they told me no because they are working in their full capacity :( that they see my case on line and they will work on it at some point... that they didn't see any hold or Admin Process.

So back to waiting God only knows for how long!
