My fiance has his interview on Feb 13th. He still hasn't receive an email or letter from London Embassy saying they have his case (our case is ready though!). Do we need this email or letter to bring to his interview?

In Germany what i needed was the confirmation page of ds160 and the appointment confirmation

my ceac tracker shows my case still at NVC... usually how long does it take for the status to change to in transit :(

Mine still shows at NVC since Monday. I plan on calling NVC today to ask for a status update as well as email them to see how long it takes to leave for embassy. I saw other timelines for Montreal which left next day but I also know it can depend on embassy.

Oh, awesome! Congratulations!!! :)

I can't wait to read your interview review! Thanks in advance for posting it.

My case has been at NVC since Jan 24, still waiting for case number.

Looks like it took two months between your Packet 4 and your interview? Is it taking two months to book an interview at Montreal now?

My NVC received was 1/18 and I got a case number 1/29. Hope that helps :)

Hmm, I would assume it'd be the same for London. The webpage after the visa was paid for said we needed that letter. :(

I'd call the embassy tomorrow. Did he sent his documents yet or did he have his medical? It took like a week until I got a letter from the embassy after our case showed ready

Is it normal that NVC takes longer than a week to send  a case to the Embassy...

I got my case # last wednesday and nothing still shows at nvc.... i got pretty bad news about my father's health yesterday and it will  be a blessing that my fiancee can come here to help us out looking out for him :(

My NVC number was also on Wednesday, and has not arrived in the UK yet. Call NVC to see when it left them and was posted, it can take 5-7 working days from here to get to your embassy.

There is no specific time period from NVC to the embassy.

In my case, after getting my case number, my case sat at the NVC for three weeks and each time I called they simply said, there is no time frame for us to send packets to the embassy.  I read that sometimes they do additional AP on cases at the NVC, so I think mine was one of them.

London embassy doesn't take calls and we've emailed them over a week ago and still not response. According to the CEAC tracker, it's been received/ready. His medical is on Feb 6th.  It's been a week since our case has been ready and still nothing. I just only received a letter from NVC saying our case was forward but nothing from Embassy itself.

Don't worry I think it sometimes

takes a while to send the documents As long as his address and email are correct on the forms you filled out so far.

Maybe other people at London embassy can help? Maybe they're experiencing the same

Hm, I suppose. His interview is two weeks from now so hopefully we will hear something by then.

Thank you so much!
