I've contacted the Ombudsman on 1/10 and it takes 45 days for a response back. I've contacted my senator and it's the same thing.

Ok, good.  They never take that long.  Hope hear something!!!

Hi everyone,

I have been in Bangkok since January 12th visiting my fiancee.  She had her interview on the 10th and was granted the Visa.  We received the Visa and accompanying sealed huge yellow envelope on the 17th.  After much emailing, discussions, vacation-time extending, etc., I will be returning to the US on January 31st together with her! :D  PoE:  Boston  1/31/2018

Beyond too happy!!!! :D:D:D:D

We wish everyone here the experience of this happiness as soon as possible.

Thanks again to our supporting cast of wonderful characters throughout this process:  @Trinab80 @AnaMolina @LabOz @johnandrose as well as many others here...

Hello @mcs best decision of a life time there buddy. Congrats to you both. Now soon the reward of our journey is ours. We will be heading straight to the mall to get her a winter jacket. I imagine Boston is still in a winter wonderland. Let me check....ok good news 30 deg high and 24 deg low...well at least it's not below ZERO. LOL...Have a safe flight. Bring copy of her BC she will need it for AOS and possibly SSN and Marriage license.

Anybody know How early we need to show up for our k-1  interview  appointment in manila?

Our appt was at 8:40. We showed up and got in line at 7:00. We were through with the whole process and approved and out in the taxi by 8:50. Our actual interview lasted only about 15 mins after all the security screening and pre-interview and fingerprinting. My fiance had us well prepared though 😉

Hello VJ friends!

How do you figure out when your case has been received/left NVC? I know you can figure it out by calling NVC but do they update your USCIS tracker too?

Our NOA2 date was 12/5/2017. So I wonder what is going on with our case right now.

Thank you!

You need to call NVC for a case number. Then, you can track where your case is with the CEAC tracker: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx
