Thank you so much for your response!!! You have no idea how much you have helped us! :) we are planning on going tomorrow! We have a question in regards to the A-number...we don't know what that or think that he doesn't have one. When I filled out the application for the k1 visa it asked for that too, but it was not applicable. Should everyone receive an A-number??

As someobe else already said on your noa2 where you can find the a number

We are may filers.

After getting Noa2 in Oct our case was under AP at NVC for 6 weeks before being sent back to USCIS for clerical error.

after many weeks and getting the senator involved we then found out our case was lost !

we had to redo new petition which was reapproved then expedited back to NVC.

They received Jan 12 and now we are waiting on being sent to embassy( Sydney)

unfortunatly they say it's going to take 4-6 weeks to process which I find hard to believe as there are cases going in and out of NVC within 1 week.

My dilemma is this.

Our wedding date is March 31st, 11 family members flying in from Australia which we can't cancel.

I quit my job after 18 years in Nov thinking I was on home stretch .

Can I still fly over for a family dinner instead, the venue says we can put our deposits towards that.

Im worried I won't get let in on esta?

I still have lease agreement and will get a return flight !

Will that be enough?

So so stressed and yes I know I shouldn't have booked wedding but we were told by immigration lawyer k1-only takes 4 month back in feb 2017 lol

So I hope to get approved in a few weeks after receiving a RFE from the California service center. My question is , has the timeline gotten any better  being transferred  from NOA2 to the NVC processing center ? Last I heard it was 60 days? I checked the spread sheet and a lot of profiles haven't been updated yet.

Do you mind telling me what you're rfe was for and also did you send it next-day mail or regular mail? Thank you

I'm praying for us all

I flew out on a NOA2. There was some more questionning than normal, but with evidence you can do it. I brought a letter from my employer confirming my return to work, my rent contract (stating an end date 2 months away, after I was due to return home) and my return flight booking. They only looked at the return flight, but it is entirely possible.

So sorry to learn of your situation :(

it should be on the NOA2 if i remember correctly

Dumb question:

I'm booking my medical tomorrow, but I have to wait for CEAC tracker to state "Ready" before booking my interview - correct?

Yes it is thank you!

Not a dumb question....We got our case number and are just going to the medical tomorrow and our case is still in transit. We are waiting to book the interview until we see how that goes tomorrow since they need at least a week for them get the medical stuff to the embassy. I know that for me online it will let me book my interview now, so you may be able to book it tomorrow as well!:)

My princess is at the USA Embassy in Manila as I write this. She was told it can take 3-10 days to get visa in hand. She believes there are non stop flights from Manila to Los Angeles other than Philippine Airlines. I have search all the basic sites and cannot find any. Does anyone here know if there are other non-stop flights? Started this Journey May 15 (Received date).

Being 15 hours, that is a long flight. I think Philippine Airlines is the only one that does it non-stop.

She could have seen some ads that do not mention that a stop is involved. I personally do not mind connections, but I could see how a novice flier would feel more at ease with a non-stop.
