Also, sorry another question, how are people able to find out when there case status is changed to "ready" and has arrived at the embassy?!

thanks so much for your help guys:)

Once you have your NVC number, you can check here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/

Remember the K1 is categorized as an immigrant visa in this system.

Hey, i just had my medical in Frankfurt.. what you really need to bring is a lot of time. And In addition to the 250€ you'll receive a bill of 130€ to your address

other than that you only need to bring papers or medicine if you have serious illnesses

And you need your A number.

you can use your case number starting with frn to check the status Here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

Thank you so much for your response!!! You have no idea how much you have helped us! :) we are planning on going tomorrow! We have a question in regards to the A-number...we don't know what that or think that he doesn't have one. When I filled out the application for the k1 visa it asked for that too, but it was not applicable. Should everyone receive an A-number??

it should be on the NOA2 if i remember correctly

Dumb question:

I'm booking my medical tomorrow, but I have to wait for CEAC tracker to state "Ready" before booking my interview - correct?
