grrrrrr, just called NVC they finally seem to have entered my case in the system however they entered the wrong date of birth of the beneficiary in their system and cannot provide me more information until that is fixed.

It was correct on the NOA1, now have to email them copy of passport and wait again. This is just dumb, they cannot simply just look at the passport copy which was already provided have to send it again by email.

Why penalize us for their mistake entering it wrong.

Wow just wow (there was no angry reaction to put)

Hello family.

Just to update

My fiance received the letter today, they are asking for His passport-style color photograph.

He sent two in the package but it looks like they didn't accept them, so he will take it again tomorrow and send it.

Thanks everybody for your help, I keep praying for all of you.

Hi,

Hope everything will be faster and smoothly for your journey. Pray for you! :D

About time right? Welcome to the next phase. Now things really do move faster. Those hard actual appointment scheduled dates makes the end seem closer and something to look forward to.

Ours is Feb 7th for med exam. 2 children with fiance was as early as possible for us. Then over a weekend wait for Embassy appointment. Still hard waiting but I can see the hard part of the journey coming to a close. I hope........

Also, if I complete my DS-160 before the case number, is that okay? I did it yesterday, or shall I just re-do when I get case number :S

You mean Form I-864, that form is for CR-1/IR-1 visa.

You can fill up the DS-160 but you have to take note of the Application ID found at upper right side to retrieve it when you log out. Don't submit the form until you have a interview date. DS-160 will only ask for your USCIS WAC number.

I did mine after NOA2 as well! As long as you note down the AA number it should be fine (they email it to you anyway).

Also it's the I-134 you just take to the interview, then for AOS you need the I-864.
