My NVC  received 1/17/18, I called today and it was assigned a Case number and Invoice ID today 1/22/18 Surprisingly it only took 5 days.   They informed me that it will be sent to the Embassy in Manila and should only take a short period of time for the embassy to receive it and to wait to hear from the embassy before doing anything else. Does anybody have an idea what will be the next step and how long before interview time. May 14, 2017 Noa 1 received, 1/22/18 NVC case number assigned. 8 months 8 days to this point,  what a ride it has been, I'm sure all my May filers no what I mean.

I'm from Manila too May 19 filer...

Jan. 10 received at NVC & case# assigned

Jan.14 Fill up ds160 & submitted

Jan.16 in transit to USEM Manila. I paid the visa fee at BPI.

Jan.17 fill up SLEC registration for medical & schedule my interview

Jan.18 ready/consulate received

...just waiting for my medical on Feb 1 & 2 & interview the next week after... Good luck 😊 almost done after a long journey

You can actually do the medical even your status still "at NVC". Just make sure when you schedule your interview you status should be "ready" at the embassy.

Got an email from US Embassy. Its the Eligibility Letter...2nd day of my Medical, today is for vaccination...i didnt like the fact that they dont allow my petitioner to go inside the SLEC ...its very frustrating...I woke up 3 am and got a priority number around 4 am..so many people was on the line before me...I finished all the test around 3 pm..the last doctor was so strict...i got a scars in my leg and arms from my childhood days where i always play on the street, well province girl..we enjoyed our time playing on street not on gadget during my time so its normal to get an accident...its so tiring to walk on their stairs even though they have elevator i only used it twice because no time to wait for it on a busy day inside the slec...it took me 5 to 10 min waiting for the elevator so better to just walk from 5th floor to 3rd floor and then back to 4rth floor to 2nd floor and back to 5th floor hahahhahaha so funny experienced...good luck to all...

Hello family.

Just to update

My fiance received the letter today, they are asking for His passport-style color photograph.

He sent two in the package but it looks like they didn't accept them, so he will take it again tomorrow and send it.

Thanks everybody for your help, I keep praying for all of you.

Greetings Fellow May Filers,

Finally, after 19 days sitting at the NVC, our case is finally in transit to the embassy!  I truly was contemplating contacting an ombudsman this week to investigate what is going on as I thought we were in a never-ending cycle of AP at the NVC.

Needless to say, I am breathing a sigh of relief that it is finally on it's way to the embassy.  My fiancé and I had hoped to get him here for his birthday next month, but it's looking more like March.  I just never thought it would have taken 10 months to get his feet on U.S. soil.

Keep the faith everyone; this is not an easy road for us, but only the strong survive as this process is not for the faint of heart!

grrrrrr, just called NVC they finally seem to have entered my case in the system however they entered the wrong date of birth of the beneficiary in their system and cannot provide me more information until that is fixed.

It was correct on the NOA1, now have to email them copy of passport and wait again. This is just dumb, they cannot simply just look at the passport copy which was already provided have to send it again by email.

Why penalize us for their mistake entering it wrong.
