Hello All, no NVC cases received or case # assigned today???

We just got our number today! (I emailed NVC over a week ago to ask for a status update.) Our NOA2 was dated on December 5.

NVC told me to use our number to create a username, submit the DS-160 and pay the visa fee.  After we paid, we were able to sign up for an interview.  Our embassy doesn't do a Packet 3 or 4.

ugh... I just need to vent! 7 weeks now waiting for nvc, they said they don't have record of my case, called uscis again they told me last week my case was sent out on tuesday Jan 16 and that it should reached nvc by friday... nvc said nope we don't have nothing please contact uscis again, i called uscis again and the guy who answered didn't transferred me to a Tier 2 officer, and he said it can take up no 90 days for NVC to get the case!!! are they kidding me! approval is valid for 4 months and they will take 3 months to ship cases from one location to another!!!!!!!!!! have anyone else being told this non sense information????

90 days is the standard answer. It's the cover their asses answer. If it was actually sent on Jan 16, then it should get to NVC this week.

But who can i trust that indeed they sent the case on the 16?? I'm so tired of waiting .....

So when creating the account what service type do we choose since we haven’t received a letter from the consulate yet?

There is only one K visa option but that option is I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a k visa appointment.

My NVC  received 1/17/18, I called today and it was assigned a Case number and Invoice ID today 1/22/18 Surprisingly it only took 5 days.   They informed me that it will be sent to the Embassy in Manila and should only take a short period of time for the embassy to receive it and to wait to hear from the embassy before doing anything else. Does anybody have an idea what will be the next step and how long before interview time. May 14, 2017 Noa 1 received, 1/22/18 NVC case number assigned. 8 months 8 days to this point,  what a ride it has been, I'm sure all my May filers no what I mean.

We have not received anything from the consulate ether. I was not even aware the consulate sends anything.

This could be consulate specific. Which consulate are you trying to schedule the interview at?
