So happy to see Japan cases moving forward.. And especially you because  I know how hard it is to move when kids involved.

About medical;

I will be using the one in Shinjuku because after research they seemed to be the one with best price (and they were nicer on the phone).

Something they told me was, they do it I believe Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

However they told me the emptiest spot was Wednesday mornings. Jus too give a head up :) good luck

Hi @Naes

No kids involved but a long way to here, indeed!

i was wondering about which medical center to book in Tokyo but "seibo" in Shinjuku I would also like to select. Good to know they are best price, thanks for additional info:)

Can you please let me know how long did it take to get a response to your email? I submitted an email last week after being told to do so due having waited 6 weeks like you.

Thank you,

James

Hi James! It honestly took about a week for us to hear something back from them. However, for some reason, it is taking a while. I hope you hear an answer soon!:)

Best,

Nicole

Hey all, really happy to see lots of us getting closer to the interview and visa issuance date.  It's encouraging to see lots of cases getting closer to reuniting loved ones to each other.

Has anyone received any letter from the NVC or the Embassy?  I never received a letter from the NVC confirming what the website/telephone people said.  We also haven't got anything from the Embassy even though it's been there for a while.  We've booked our medical, but the medical says we need to present official documents for visa type and case number.  We haven't booked our interview since it seems like we need to present the official mail.

Has anyone got anything physical from them?  Or know what we need to bring?

Thanks so much

Call NVC tomorrow and ask for a “status update” to be emailed to you.

That will have all of the info you need to give to Knightsbridge.

Recheck the CEAC.gov site with your LND number and if it says “ready” you can fill out the ds160, the readiness form and then book your appointment if you have all of your necessary documents.

Pring out your interview information and you can take that to Knightsbridge as well.

No way. It’s taking two months to go from approval to NVC. Then another two weeks for NVC case number. Then maybe a week to get to embassy. After that it depends on the embassy. Some are fast, some take months to schedude interview.
