Oh ok so I only need vaccine proof? I have my red book of vaccines from when I was a child and I have a recent proof of my flu vaccine. I haven't had any other vaccines since.

No. You need a medical summary. That's different to full medical records, just the key issues you've had. Where in the U.K. Are you? Depends on which country, but if England you need to ask for a patient care summary, which you can actually access online. But you definitely need a summary alongside bringing your vaccinations list.

The receptionist advised it would cost £10 initially and then 50p per sheet of paper for a copy of my records and as she stated 'this will cost a fortune'. She seemed as though she'd never heard of this process before and suggested I could have a summary of exisiting conditions instead.. is this enough ?! She's left me confused

I never received anything from them.  I've just got all my info from calling and checking the website.

No, if you look at what the Knightsbridge Doctors email you when you book your appointment, you will need the medical summary.

Hi everybody,

NVC told my fiancé yesterday they haven't sent our file to my embassy yet.

And SURPRISE, they told him today our case was received at the Naples embassy!

So probably we shouldn't always trust them!

Bad thing is I can't give you guys a good reference for dates since they never really told us what was going on!

I'll try to update the NOA2 to NVC Time Tracker with what I know.

 

I just have one question, should I wait for some letter from NVC now that I am supposed to take with me to the interview?

Hey everyone. I have great news! I just received a text and email from USCIS concerning my NOA2.

 

On January 12, 2018, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx. 

We will mail your approval notice. 

Please follow the instructions in the notice. 

 

The texted came today today but I see they approved it last Friday. Finally May 22 is behind us! I'm so relieved. 

 

So how kind does it take before NVC would get the file so we can start the DS-160?

Very sorry to say now it's about 50 days to get the NVC number and then they have to send the file to the embassy, when they are ready you can book your interview etc. I know, insane!

But for now be happy with your NOA2, make that joy last the longest possible!

Hi congrats.

You don't need the NVC number to do the DS-160. It does not ask for it. you can start it right now.
