We were EARLY May filers.

It took a good 6 months for NOA 1

NVC number took all of 8 days back then

After that came her interview.

Due to my prior past petitions it was held up at the Embassy in Manila.

Well 2.5 months after interview here visa went from , READY, Application Received , Admin Processing and the day after AP it went to ISSUED.

Still can't believe it 8.5 months.

I really don't know, why the took that long to send a RFE, but it is what it is and to be honest I feel happy that at least the touched the case and we can move on in the process.

I will keep praying for all of you that haven't had an answer yet.

Just got off the phone with NVC, my case was received today, no case number yet. The woman told me it could take up to 14 days to receive the case number. Noa 2 approval Dec 14    , NVC received Jan 17 =  33 days.   8 months from Noa 1 received.  May 14,2017.  Can anyone tell me what is next once I receive the case number, and roughly how long until interview. As many of my VJ May filers know this has been a long and crazy ride. But it looks like the end is near. Thank you Lord for all your Blessings.

I am May 14, got a RFE  Nov 17 asking for proof of meeting in person, which I sent originally, so I sent it again, I received my NOA 2 approval 30 days later. Dec. 14, so keep the faith!

NVC must of received a batch today, I called yesterday and they did not have my case yet, I called again this evening and they received it today, so I am sure there are others also.

Once you received your case number, you can pay your visa at BPI. Fill up DS160. Fill up pre registration at SLEC. It goes fast at NVC...from at nvc to ready mine took only 8 days.😊 congrats

USCIS might be catching up on their backlog. I just called NVC and found out they received my case on January 15th. My NOA2 approval date was December 8th. So it took 38 days. Now it's time to call every night after 8PM (usually when you call after 8 there is no waiting) to get my number.

I agree! Shoey helped us thru some hard times waiting. The May filers deserve a big after party for what we have been thru!
