Also, I was speaking specifically about the US Embassy in London. Their processes are not all the same.

Finally ! After 42 days since NOA2 we got our Case Number and Invoice Number. We called last night and our case was not at NVC  yet and we called few minutes ago and a nice guy gave us our numbers...woooooooh !!!!   Praise the Lord !!!!!

How long does it take for them to send our papers to US Embassy in Manila ?

Ours was received by NVC and given case number on one day and within 10 days our case was at the manila embassy received and ready for appointment making...good news to you if you dont already know....they have ALOT of appointments available  for interview...still available in January... i just booked mine today and they still have jan 22 and later....i saw more than 40 still available on that day alone. so get ready...no apointment necessary for medical...just register online...then show up in que bright and early before sun up. I noticed they are sugesting you make your medical exam 2 weeks before your interview.....so  pay your visa fee at BPI bank asap so you can schedule the interview..youll need the interview conformation letter to give a copy at the med exam....the med exam fee is paid directly to St lukes hospital  IN CASH ONLY on the day of the exam....

Yes Cenomar is required for k visa..In Manila You get it from PSA formerly knows as NSO. go get it now..! dont wait...because CENOMAR and also u need  Police NBI clearance for travel visa  both those documents need to be mailed ..no instant pickup. im not sure what government office has it in your country ...

For Philippines yes it is a requirement.

for other countries there are different papers substitute that, and for some None. In Turkey and Japan you get a paper that shows you're single and free to marry.

Thank you so much about the information and we are very excited after getting our numbers. Just curious, why is it necessary to do the medical exam2 weeks before our interview? We are staying in the province of Mindanao and it requires us to fly twice to Manila or staying in Manila for 2 weeks we were planning to going there 1 time and finish everything there in one week.

Thank you so much...

I dont need NBI clearance, only police clearance here in Singapore,, but it says that i need to request CENOMAR from PSA to be sent to US Embassy here in Singapore. do you think how long it will take?
