Does anyone know if medical appointment is scheduled by the embassy or petitioner/beneficiary?  Also how do we get the list for documents that one needs to have with for medical appointment?

NOA1 - May 22

NOA2 - Dec 1

NOA2 Hard copy received - Dec 6

NVC received - Jan 18

NVC Case # assigned - Jan 29

Embassy receives documents (NVC status is READY) - Jan 31 

Medical Exam - Feb 21

Interview - Feb 27

long wait due to government incompetence realized in 2 month testing for TB  

POE - May 22

Here in Philippines the beneficiary is the one who do the medical appointment. Not sure in others country.

So today marks 6 weeks since approval... I'll call and email them... Lets hope for the best... :)

5/27/2017: I-129F sent to USCIS

5/30/2017: Received by USCIS

6/8/2017: Received our NOA1 hard copy via mail; NOA1 Hard Copy Receipt Date: 5/30/2017

11/29/2017: NOA2 Notification via USCS App 
12/04/2017: NOA2 Hard Copy Received 
01/11/2018: NVC Received I-129F 
01/12/2018: Case Number Received

I believe you can even get it on the same day they received it if you're persistent enough :jest:

Same here in NL.  According to the instructions from the consulate in Amsterdam, I can schedule my medical once I know my interview date.

Medical Examination and Vaccination Requirements

In preparing for the interview, applicants will need to schedule and complete a medical examination. Before the issuance of an immigrant or K visa, every applicant, regardless of age, must undergo a medical examination which must be performed by an authorized panel physician. You will be provided instructions regarding medical examinations from the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you will apply for your visa, including information on authorized panel physicians. See Medical Examination for more information, including a list of panel physicians by country, and frequently asked questions.

K visa applicants are encouraged to get the vaccinations required under U.S. immigration law for immigrant visa applicants.  Although such vaccinations are not required for K visa issuance, they will be required when adjusting status to that of legal permanent resident following your marriage. Applicants are therefore encouraged to fulfill these vaccination requirements at the time of the medical examination. See Vaccination Requirements for IV Applicants for the list of required vaccinations and additional information.

🎉 noa2 case info: Filed May 17th 2017, noa2 4th November 2017, sent to nvc 20th Dec 2017. At no point did I recieve any info via online incl. App or mail. I have been at a loss, USCIS haven't helped wit my journey so far or had a clue.  I now have a case number and can start the final journey. I have only just found only today all of this info all at once 🤔🇬🇧🇺🇸

So I finally get a response to my case inquiry as to why I have not been approved. They say that are still waiting on. Security Checks, are you kidding me 8 months in you are waiting for Security Checks for someone with no criminal history not even a parking ticket !!!!!
