Normally; After the point they receive, things move really quick can be in the same week or a few days even as far as I know.

Option 1 then 5 is what we used. Called on option 1,than 2. NVC told  call back on option 5.

I emailed them. The NOA-2 says 30 days without contact. So its been 30 days. It'll be close to the 6 week mark before they decide to respond im sure

221 days since NOA1.My fiance submitted a inquiry still no answer,he called also,and they said it can take up to 60 days for them to replay on our RFE.As if we didn't waited long enough.The future doesn't look promising with the NVC extended waiting time.Who would have thought that this process can take up to 1 year?This is madness!!!😢😢😢

that's great they got your case! i'm 11/15 and they said they don't have mine yet

lol i did that. after 30 days i e-mailed and it took a week for them to respond and they said e-mail after its been six weeks

OMG I  just figured out how to call the NVC from AUS and I got thru under 10 mins and this lovely lady gave me my case number!!!

How soon can I submit the DS-160 now that I FINALLY have my case#? Its still at NVC and they recieved it 28th December

Hang in there we recieved an email on day 229 from Noa1 saying our petition had been approver.  We rang uscis to check and she said it's not updated on our system but then did abit of digging and said yes I can see the email it has been approved we just haven't updated the system. So we're patiently waiting for our NOA2 to come through via the post. Many people have said they recieved it in the mail and the website still said RFE recieved.  

Oh we got a RFE too btw they recieved it 21 December so it took them around 10 days to approve our case after that.
