Does anyone know it the NVC is open today? Closed yesterday due to the Bomb Cyclone (I swear they make these names up). I bet they are closed today too and they had a Holiday this past Monday. And guess what? They get another Holiday the 15th of January for MLK Day.

Has anyone ever gotten a positive response from emailing NVC with the NOA-2? Just curious if its even worth it.... we hit 30 days yesterday but we all know they're receiving around nov 15 so ... is it worth it to reach out?

Imo no, they don't know you exist until USCIS sends the file. The problem is on USCIS's end and I don't think nvc can really do much

In my opinion/experience you won't get a positive response from them until it has been at least 6 weeks since your NOA2.

I emailed NVCResearch after our 6 weeks had passed and got a response from them after 8 days letting me know they had just received my case and I should wait 4-5 weeks for further instruction.  After receiving the email, I called them that evening and received the case number.
