Keep strong! It should be received any day now :) Ours was similar and everything happened so fast after being received.

Could you fill out a timeline on your profile? It helps us see how processing times are going. Thanks.

My app Updated this morning with a case from the 26th, I thought it was yours.

Day 225 here, no RFE, no Approval in the fustration waiting with you and the  others little few in the same situation.

This is horrible.

Day 225 as well. I was told last week by USCIS Rep that I should get an update probably this month. Hmm. I was told that months ago in October 2017 that I should receive an update by December 2017. I usually don't bother calling USCIS because I feel it's pointless at this stage. I did put in a Service Request and my case has been assigned to be review as to why it's taking so long. The system says by Jan 18th I should receive a response to my inquiry. I'm hoping and praying to get my NOA2 before then.

They shouldn't need anything from us RFE, ugh no. Approval and keep it moving to the next stage, heck yes! I'm praying for you guys as well. Because this is a mess. A hot mess.

But Happy New Year to you all!!

Wait for it to hit atleast in transit when checking the ceac tracking, just in case it get stuck in ap at nvc. Then do you ds-160. After it says ready for your case, email the vn consulate and ask for your packet 3 letter. Print that out( you may need it later) after that you have to go to ustraveldocs, make and account. You can then fill that account info with your ds-160 number and HCM case number. After that, you got to print out a page to pay visa fees. In 1-2 days, you can schedule your interview. Link below is same my post from couple months ago.  The other link in the vn portal, which you will get better answers for our consulate.

My heart goes out to all of you who are also waiting.  It's so hard to describe the feeling of waiting to anyone who asks, over and over and over.

"Yes, we're doing everything we can."

"Yes it is slow."

"Yes, slower than usual."

"Yes it is hard."

"Yes it is a long process."

"Yes I do need to learn patience."

It's been 8 weeks since our NOA2, and I've been calling the NVC but to no avail.  I took a bit more action today,  I emailed nvcreasearch@state.gov with the needed information and a request to process.  We're so far out of even the average processing time that it's all becoming so discouraging.

I don't know if this will be of use to anyone, but this is the email I sent, subject line is the USCIS receipt number:

To whom it may concern,

I am respectfully requesting that your department research our case.  We received the attached approval letter which was dated <date> and were excited to see the immigration process moving forward.

However it's been over 8 weeks and our phone call on <much later date> revealed that our case is not yet shown up in your system.

Please see the attached approval notice for more information.

I'm the petitioner, my name is <your name>, birth date <your birth date>.

The application/beneficiary is <beneficiary name>, birth date <beneficiary birth date>.

We're anxious to move on with the process and concerned with the timeline.

Thank you for your help,

<your name>

Does anyone know why every time I try to review my ds-160 the site times out after "seconds"? When I retrieve the ds-160, it shows me the first page, then when I click next to see the next page it time-out on me. I can never get past the first page. In the instructions it states that if idle for 20min it will time out. I don't even get 20secs.

"Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and

petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus."

You can email them and say your case number is at ready and give them you case number. And ask them can they email you the packet 3 letter. And then you can go ahead a print the letter

i hope ours too.

We received the letter NOA2 Decmber 15. we received the approval email december 13.  And the approval date stated in NOA2 is December 11. we called USCIS a week after we received the letter, they said we nned to wait for the NVC to send the packet or instruction, we will receive a case number. we called NVC today, they said we just need to wait because it is still within 2 to 6 weeks time frame.

Hi are you doing this from an internet connection in Cambodia? If so that is likely the reason. Try going to a place there with a better connection. Same thing happened to us the the Philippines.  The Hotel Business office ended working much better then the internet cafe's which kept timing out.

If you are in the USA doing this again maybe try the public library and do it from there.
