The NVC Reps will only respond to the petitioner. Please include your name in this list for the NVC timeline. Thank you:)

You don't have to worry about this. You are still waiting for the NOA2 and there is a 6 weeks waiting period in the NVC stage. It will be alright as long as you have an employment certificate from your new job, bank statements, tax transcripts and you are above the 125% minimum income requirement. You have to fill up the Affidavit of Support Form I-134 with the supporting documents within 30 days before your interview date.

Ok thanks for the information. Good to know.

OMG! THIS PROCESS IS SO FRUSTRATING

I just called the NVC after 7 WEEKS of waiting and they DO NOT HAVE OUR PETITION YET.

WHAT? HOW? WHY?

We are beyond exhausted. NOA2 Nov 11, 2017

I hope everyone had a happy holiday. Sad I couldn't spend it with my fiancée :( Its been a real strain on the relationship but we soldiering through it. Today marks Day 218 with no RFE or anything. Trying to stay optimistic and pray an approval will come before the new year.

Yeah beneficiaries can call nvc. I forgot what order you have to press. I think its something like 1 for english, and then select whatever option is immigrant visas, think its number 5 if i remember correctly( it may not be 5, been a while for me)

What do I need to do after receiving the nvc case number to schedule an interview? DS-160?

Wait for it to hit atleast in transit when checking the ceac tracking, just in case it get stuck in ap at nvc. Then do you ds-160. After it says ready for your case, email the vn consulate and ask for your packet 3 letter. Print that out( you may need it later) after that you have to go to ustraveldocs, make and account. You can then fill that account info with your ds-160 number and HCM case number. After that, you got to print out a page to pay visa fees. In 1-2 days, you can schedule your interview. Link below is same my post from couple months ago.  The other link in the vn portal, which you will get better answers for our consulate.

@Websters202 exactly what we did.

OMG this process! when do you estimate you will have the interview? We are hoping for late Feb at the latest as the NOA2 expires in early March. Anyone have any experience with an expired NOA2? is that timeline realistic or should we worry that this will go on into and after March?

I got my case number last week on Dec. 20, and I just called NVC to ask for an update, and they said my case is under AP... When I look at the online tracker, it just says "at NVC". Does anyone know if everyone undergoes AP at NVC? Not sure if i'm in for another hellishly long wait or not...

If you're in AP, then its a waiting game. Some get stuck for a while. Sorry. Most prob go through some sort of ap, but not for a week. But could be delayed a little because of christmas. Almost every embassy is electronic now, so it usually leaves within a couple days and you will see "in transit"
