Thank you !

Once they give you a case number you have to wait to schedule the medical and interview? what is it that we are waiting for ? Sorry I havent read much into it...

Each country is different, so is better if you find out about your country.

There are countries that received a package 4, there are others that dont.

But in my case, in DR since you have your case number you could schedule your medical and interview, so meanwhile your case is coming to the embassy you are taking advantage the time, but is better that we wait until the case said ready in our embassy, just in case there is any delay, so I just waited until it got ready here and scheduled everything.

Interview booked for March 7th, almost 4 months from NOA2 (which expires March 20th). Hopefully nobody else has to wait this long after getting approved.

All the best! Had mine last Wednesday. Went amazing.

Thanks and congrats!

Did you require a long form birth certificate? My mother never got that one and I'm just now reading from the reviews that that's what they need as it doesn't specify in P3. Just put in an order online but not sure if it'll arrive in time.

Honestly, my mother never got that one too, and I never had it. After reading the reviews here and stuff about someone being told they'd have to be put on hold till they got it sent to them etc.. I ordered it online.. the fast shipment which I had to pay an extra 30$ for. But it came less than 4 business days after I ordered it. And guess what, when I went to the officer, he's like short or long form will do.

for all of you who are still in the process: it'll all be worth it in the end

thank all of you for the support!

Also Poe at charlotte wasn't stressful at all. It just took a while for them to review my documents but all they asked was when were getting married and advising me on filing for aos asap

Congratulations!!!!  :D

California service center received it January 27th. The RFE was prove that we met before we applied for a visa . It has now been 17 days 😢

Cheer up! Most people hear back within 30 days, a lot of RFE's getting approved in 2-3 weeks!

Nothing says Valentine's Day like an interview going well! My fiancee went to the embassy this morning, all went well. We were definitely prepared - too many papers (especially for Affidavit of Support), but we're glad we had everything.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. One of the most humbling parts of this experience was knowing that I could come to this forum anytime and look to all of you for advice, feedback, etc. The support from this community was definitely a highlight in what has been an extremely frustrating experience for us all.

For those of you still waiting, keep looking forward. Wishing you all the best!

Thank you! Did they look at the Affidavit of Support and supporting documents closely?

Happy Valentines Day!

I had my interview at the London embassy today and was approved pending the results of my medical (I called Knightsbridge and they should be there this week).

Thank you everyone for the advice so far! There will be plenty more needed I'm sure.

Good luck to everyone! Fingers crossed for you all (L)

how long did you wait between the medical and interview. I have my medical 1st March and Interview 12th March hoping thats enough time between

I waited 8 days (because of the weekend, that left 5 clear working days as suggested). You should be ok according to what they suggest, maybe they were just particularly busy this week and last.

I wish I was in the same situation as alot of people now! We received a 221g for further information at the interview, required bank statements and proof of assets even though we made over the K1 limit. :(

So, I have no idea how closely they looked at them, but this was probably the most stressful part for me. Not because I couldn't prove that I could support, but because the papers I received from the embassy vs what the form requests are totally different. After getting my tax return notorized and chasing down banks to create letters that showed the total amount of deposits for the last year (which apparently is a special request and not part of their custom 'verification of deposit" letter), among all the other documents, the only papers that they took related to the AoS were:

- I-134

- W2 for 2017

- Work paystubs

- Employment verification letter

They took these elsewhere to look at, and not with my fiancee. However, we were glad we had everything together just in case!! And we'd definitely recommend following whatever they've requested from you. Hope that helps!

I've checked the CEAC tracker twice today, the first time it said "Administrative Processing", now it says "Ready". Is it wishful thinking that it means my medical has been received and they will soon be issuing the visa? Has this happened to anyone else who has been approved pending the receipt of medical/other documents?

(Interview was yesterday - approved pending medical).
