The fee needs to be paid at the bank in-person. It cannot be paid online or through an ATM; at least not if you do not have an account with that particular bank already. You cannot pay through another bank ether. It has to be specific bank and specific currency. The rates are only good for a few days, there is an expiration date on the payment form.

No please don't book your flight just yet. You never know how long they can take. Even if you are approved, they sometimes need more addition time and your case will be in AP. Unless you can cancel that flight anytime, I would risk it.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I called on Tuesday and had them put in another service request ticket they claim it can take 2-4 weeks for a response (sigh). I keep getting told that on January 12th, my case moved over to from whatever previous phase it was in and now is in queue for review.

 

I submitted another Senator's inquiry and still waiting on the Ombudsman.

 

Another week soon to pass with no resolve.

I have 2 active inquiries in and my Congressman said they will do another on February 12.  One of the 2 inquiries is supposed to gave a response by February 8.  I'm not holding my breath.

The one you're waiting on for on the 8th, is that from the Congressman or USCIS?

The Congressman got the canned Tier I speech.  I lied to get to Tier II and that gave me the first "official" inquiry number.  That one is expected by Feb 8.  I also did the online inquiry for the second "official" number which has the 30 to 45 days for response.  I got no tracking number from the congressional inquiry.
