Anyone having the interview in Feb and still taking the 2016 tax papers for evidence? That should be okay right? Or should we start filling in 2017 taxes and present that?

2017 tax return (i.e., reporting 2016 wages) should be fine. I did 2014, 2015 and 2016 tax returns and included by 2017 W-2s and 1099s.

tax return for 2017 is due April 15 so if you have interview in Feb you can only provide tax return for 2016

Anyone know what the current real life wait time is in manila between visa APPROVED and visa delivered in Manila ?

5 to 10 days but don't buy a ticket until VOH unless you don't mind paying extra to change it.

i want to know the answer to this too - is wet signature necessary or can we use electronic?

conflicting info on other forum pages :s

I-134 is not legally enforceable. Photo copies or scanned signatures should be fine. I've never heard of anyone getting a 221g for not having wet signature for I-134 for K-1.

However if someone wants to spend $50 to $100 to send international express mail for piece of mind it is up to them.

WE just passed and approved interview in manila on monday..they never sent either of us any "packets"  of any kind ...only one  email with a couple non working links and outdated information...sad really, at the amount of outdated or non relevant info provided officially to us thru this process...

Congrats on the visa approval . Manila hasn't sent out packets in years.

This forum is the best resource. Yes they really need to clean up some of their material.

Thanks Steven. I've had two VJ members reply to the post advising it must be wet ink so now I'm really confused. My fiance has sent me a copy in wet ink but this was in the regular post with postage stamps. Hopefully it should get to me...

Just finished my interview in Montreal and was approved! Will be posting my review a little later.

Good luck to those still waiting. This is definitely a marathon, not a sprint!

Oh, awesome! Congratulations!!! :)

I can't wait to read your interview review! Thanks in advance for posting it.

My case has been at NVC since Jan 24, still waiting for case number.

Looks like it took two months between your Packet 4 and your interview? Is it taking two months to book an interview at Montreal now?

Actually there were many open dates after I recieved packet 4. As early as 3 weeks! I just chose a date further ahead to ensure I had enough time after the holidays to get the all the paperwork together.

Ah! Good thinking there :P  Thanks for your response.

And it certainly makes me happy to hear that I might not have to wait too much longer. So ready to move on!

May I ask, what are your plans for POE?

Yes, you're almost there!

Well, once I tie up some loose ends I'm thinking probably flying to Chicago and then shipping my stuff afterwards.
