One more question, did you receive your packet via post, to your home address?

Nope, 'coz surely it will take forever. Can't rely in our postal system here. Hahaha that's reality My petitioner just forward the emails he received from the embassy and I just printed it.

Thanks friend, I hope that too, I feel better now:D, but I cant believe that it took them 8 months to ask for one picture.

They are a bit slow. It takes longer and longer now. Hopefully, from now on they will be more efficient. :D

Good Morning!!!

Yesterday my fiancé Received NVC letter in mail. Took 10 days since NVC assigned case number Jan 12.

I called yesterday to consulate and they told me they have my case but it takes up to 2 weeks to send me the email with instructions and that I can schedule my interview.

So I did, interview date Feb 21, waiting on email to go through with medical examination since in Dominican Republic we don't need to make an appointment.

Waiting on that email...

Congratulations! :D

From what I hear, only the most recent is required. If it comforts you to have a few years, more evidence can't hurt!

Did you get NOID? Why?

I'm worried if 2017 is the requirement since my fiance didn't file it yet.

Hi Everyone,

can someone help me? So our case is "in transit" to Manila Embassy as of today.

im just wondering what else should we prepare both petitioner and benificiary.

i think i need to send affidavit of support. So, this are what i have.

- W2s 2015 & 2016
- 1040s 2015 & 2016
- COE
- letter from emoloyer with salary, hire date and managers signature.
- Affidivavit of support
- Payslips (Nov 2017 - January 2018)

for my W2s and 1040s are these still valid? Since its tax season?

When does the benificiary forward these docs? Is it on the day of interview?

and for the letter from emoloyer with their signature? How long is the validity if i have then sign this month?

thanks for all your help.

I think the financial evidence support you have gathered is good so far. It's tax season but I don't think US employers have sent out all the paperwork for 2017 yet, have they? I thought they had until the end of January or February?

Hopefully someone else can answer that, and also your question about how long the validity of the employer letter is good for.  This is information we all could use right now!

Maybe this will *bump* your query a little so someone with more knowledge will come along and see it. Good luck! :)

Good luck! :)

Thank you for your reply.

Bout the letter from employer. Im planning on having it signed by my manager without the date then have my fiancee put the date when shes ready. You think thats a good idea?

When should the beneficiary send this docs to the embassy?
