Booking Medical Before NVC?

June 30th K-1 filers here. I (the beneficiary in the UK) am wondering if it's possible to book the medical quite early on, potentially as soon as the NVC number comes in.
I have an event that I'd love to be in the US for April 12, and I think that's not too outlandish of an estimate for getting things sorted, but I just want to move things on as quickly as possible.

Also, we haven't recieved NOA2 yet, but would it be a good idea to get the affidavit of support ready, including the letter from his employer now? How long is something like that valid for? He definitely makes 125% of the poverty line, so there's no issues there, it's just a case of whether or not having it here so that the second I get my NVC number, I can get the ball rolling pretty much immediately.

Thanks! <3

Hey friend. Certainly no harm in collecting financial evidence now but make sure your SO keeps giving you his latest pay slips as when I had my interview, the lady at the desk only wanted the latest pay slip I had (London embassy is super light touch on financial evidence) but the more you have the merrier.

Yes as soon as you have your NVC number you can get on the phone to the medical. I've just looked at the K1 timeline and looks like you're up soon (hopefully!). As soon as you have your NOA2, things move quickly so assuming all goes well, I see no reason why you won't be in the States by April 12th.

Good luck, although the medical and interview are a breeze :)
