I am confused about birth certificate of Turkish Citizens. I searched topics, but still I could not found precise answer. There are two kinds of documents you can get from Birth Registration Office: one is Vital Record(Nufus Kayit Ornegi in Turkish) and the other is Multi Language Birth Certificate (Formul A Dogum Belgesi in Turkish). Actually, I sent the second one as it sounded the exact thing what they want but when I searched in forum, other document was sent as well. Which one should I have sent? Thank you in advance.

Unlike in the US, or perhaps any other country, there is no birth certificate in Turkey.

I searched if there was anything similar but the only official document that provides someone's birth information is their Turkish Identification Card (Nüfüs Cüzdanı) and Passport.

So, we sent photocopies of: both our Nüfüz Cüzdanı, Nüfüs Kayıt Örneği, and Passports just to be sure, in case they wouldn't accept one or the other!

You should translate (Nufus Kayit Ornegi/Extract of Vital Record) as well as your Turkish ID card (Kimlik/Nufus Cuzdani) and send both of them.  Like @Mozak said you can send all of them including your passport.

Here is the reference from DoS web site.

@Gravlax do you know if the Multi Language Birth Certificate got accepted? Also, I assume you did not have to get that translated or notarized again since it should be in English.

I haven't got any RFIE or RFE so far. It has been like 90 days since It's received. I haven't got it translated, just had it apostilled while I was in Turkey. If I get any requests regarding this, I will let you know. But, as I searched in forum, many people have used multi language one, some of them got RFE, some of them not. I think It depends on the officer that reviews the case.
