Every case is different. Never compare your timeline with others, it'll drive you crazy.

It'll happen when it happens.

Patience is a virtue.

Hey... I am also waiting for my husband's daughter CR-2 visa process move on NVC. It is so frustrating! When did you file for I-130? when was it approved by USCIS?

I applied for IR1 and my son IR2. My son's i130 was processed a full month ahead of mine. His case was completed around 8 1/2 months where as mine took closer to 9 1/2 months. They were both processed at Nebraska.

What do you mean "his case was completed in 8 months and half"?? My step daughter's case was sent to the National Visa Center on Nov 8 and it is still there. :( My husband started as a green card holder and he is now a citizen and his case was updated already.

My son's i130 took 8 1/2 months to complete in Nebraska. Your step daughter's case was processed faster because it was processed at the Texas Service Center. Timelines vary between service centers.

I saw your timeline, you will go through the interview now in February, is this correct?

Yes. Each country may have a different timeline for the NVC process and booking an interview.

Has your son been through the interview yet? What questions did they ask?

I waited for my case to get linked up as we have to do our interviews together. Not sure what they intend on asking a 5 year old but can provide details after Feb 13.
