I received my Rfe in the mail, it says : submit a completed and signed 1-130a, supplemented information for spousal beneficiary from the spouse beneficiary. My attorney is out of town and won’t be back until February 20th. Does anyone know if I can fill this form on my own and send it to Uscis? Or do I wait for my attorney to be back😢?

That's really unfortunate! I noticed previously your attorney send the wrong amount of check too?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you choose this attorney?

I know right, I feel like I would have gotten my EAD if not for all theses errors he keeps making,he was an attorney to my friend and she had no problem with hers... its just so crazy.

Filed for my wife who has been here for about 10 years on a F1 visa working on a bachelors and now masters degree as a nurse. She has previously had a EAD but currently works under OPT rules. I'm a natural-born citizen.

12/13/2017 - Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864 and I-765 to Chicago

12/16/2017 - USPS confirms delivery

12/21/2017 - Received email confirmation, checks are cashed

(Didn't save exact date, but we received the receipts in the mail soon after for I-130, I-485 and I-765)

1/11/2017 - Received Biometrics appointment notification for I-485 and I-765

1/22/2017 - Biometrics appointment complete

1/22/2017 - Received notification in the mail that our I-693 is the incorrect version. Seems the Dr. office took the first two pages from our I-693 version 10/2017 we filled out and then for the rest of the form printed their own version from 2/2017. Instructed to get an updated form but bring it to the interview instead of mailing it.

Online status has not changed with our case since 12/22 when the I-130 and I-765 were marked as Case Received and the I-485 was marked as Fingerprint Fee Received. Our paperwork seems to be at the National Benefit Center in Missouri while we live in Atlanta.

I contacted my congressman just to see if they can do anything to speed up the I-765 because we are buying a house. Even though she has 2 years of tax returns, the lender will not include her on the loan based on working under OPT. They sent us a privacy release form about 3 weeks ago but I haven't heard anything since then. We close on 2/28 and really want to add her to the loan, but that seems pretty unlikely.

As marriage evidence we included joint credit card / bank statements, documentation showing her as the beneficiary on my retirement account, cell phone bills with both our numbers on a family plan, car rental / plane ticket receipts from a trip in August to meet her family, a hotel receipt from April with her listed as a 2nd guest, copies of our drivers licenses showing the same address and a loan summary where I co-signed a student loan with her. By the time the interview comes around we should have a car with both our names on the title along with the house and some utilities. We're also going to put together a photo book of our relationship and be sure to include photos of her with my family and vice versa. I'm a little concerned that it'll be a red flag that we got married in the court house after knowing each other only a year but we're saving a ceremony and rings for later this year. Otherwise I would think our case is pretty clear cut.

(I'm a citizen who petitioned AOS for my wife to go from student visa to green card)

12/13/2017 - Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864 and I-765 to Chicago

12/16/2017 - USPS confirms delivery

12/21/2017 - Received email confirmation, checks are cashed. Receipts in the mail shortly after.

1/11/2018 - Received Biometrics appointment notification for I-485 and I-765

1/22/2018 - Biometrics appointment complete

1/22/2018 - Received notification in the mail that our I-693 is the incorrect version, bring update to interview.

1/29/2018 - I-485 changes to "We are scheduling your interview" but only on my.uscis.gov not egov.uscis.gov

4/13/2018 - I-765 updated to "New Card Is Being Produced"

4/21/2018 - I-765 Received

I believe they are working on mid November cases (I been lurking on the November AOS threads) and  EAD usually take around 90 days...

I havnt been reading these posts lately but

Today I noticed my case tracker updated to ready to schedule interview i485

I don't have an ead and my ead tracker says received payment for finger print still (I had my biometrics on Jan 12)

I wonder if I'll get an interview prior to ead that would be interesting (I live in chicago) but I also wonder if I will be in this case status of a pending interview date for months like I have read ?

Interestingly, I got my EAD/AP combo card earlier this week.  BUT I still don't have a biometrics notice yet. I sent an inquiry to USCIS, and they said that my name is still in their system, waiting to be scheduled.

My service center is California Service Center (WAC). See signature for timeline.

Congrats, could you please update your timeline ? Can't see your signature

Nope! I guess California Service Center is just faster in processing EADs? But for I-485 they are still stuck in April 2015 or something like that.
