I did mine a bit different. i filed 1-130 Nov 1 2017 for consular processing. I changed my mind and submitted AOS 1-485 Dec 6. My priority date is still Nov 1. But I have my biometrics appt Jan 8. Hoping this all goes quickly. So stressful all this hurry up and wait business!

10/12/2017 | Married! (L)

10/30/2017 | I-130 Package sent via UPS to USCIS. Was initially going to do consular processing.

11/06/2017 | NOA1 Priority Date Nov 6, 2017

12/06/2017 | AOS package sent (EAD, and AP as well). I decided to do concurrent filing/ AOS instead of consular processing. The lawyer I consulted scared me initially about AOS and that concurrent is more a sure thing, but I already work here in US under TN and did not enter with intent to marry.

12/11/2017 | AOS package received and received NOA1 for them all about a week later

12/30/2017 | Biometrics Appointment letter received

01/08/2018 | Biometrics Appointment

01/12/2018 | RFE Received. (I forgot to have my husband sign the affidavit of support. Seriously OMG. I looked everything over 20 times.) Mailed the signed page back 01/13/2018.

01/25//2018 | RFE received. Case update says they will now continue reviewing my case. I was worried I would be sent to back of the line because of the RFE, but it didnt because 6 days later it changed to ready to interview!

01/31/2018 | Online- "case is ready to be scheduled!" Yipee!

02/10/2018 Online case update Interview date May 1!!!!

Agreed! It's a lot of hurry up and wait. I need to apply to remove my conditions, which could take 6-9 months to be approved.... I'm hoping they'll send me something that allows me to leave the U.S. and come back so I can return home to visit family!

still waiting on my biometrics appointment also , I literally go in my mail box everyday🙁. I’m filling concurrently I-130,i-765,i-485 ,my package was first sent on November 20 and was returned because I paid more than I should. My attorney sent it back on December 12

December 15: received by USCIS

December 26: notice of action (receipt) haven’t heard anything since then.

Each time I check my case status online, it tells me G-28 wasn’t filled correctly, my question is will that affect my process?

From what i know,  The G-28 is a notice of an attorney that she/he is your attorney for purposes of the applications/petitions that are stated at the top of the G-28. Your attorney is to handle that, but as long as you've got your NOA and Priority date then you should be fine. Update us when you get your biometrics appointment in the mail.

So if anyone is interested ...

I got my drivers license today!:jest:

(Illinois)

However .....it does expire on the i94 date unfortnately which for me is feb 17 2018, next month.

Between that and the date of when I get a work permit I cannot drive.

It's super silly if you ask me.

They let me keep my Canadian license.

I only had to show my passport,i94, marriage cert and ssn card (originals)

I did not require anything from my husband.

My SSN came by mail so they used that slip attached to the ssn or my address otherwise I had a bank statement just incase ready.

I only had to do a written test and a super easy vision exam. Written I practiced some online tests the night before it was easy I got 100%. It's 35 questions and you need 28 right than the computer shuts down.
