12/18- mailed forms I-130, I-130A, I-485, I-765, I-693, I-864 
12/27- recieved text & email 
01/02- notice paper copy 
01/15- biometrics appointment notice 
01/23- biometrics completed 
02/01- Case is Ready to be scheduled for an Interview 
04/27- I-765 EAD: New Card is being produced

so i see on my informed delivery that i have a letter coming in from NBC. i think its the approval letter.

did anyone receive approval notice for EAD and AP separately ?

i got my approval notice in the mail for i765 today to my new address but i have another big question to ask.  i got a social security card in the mail also and i haven't recieved my EAD yet. does the mean i don't need to go to SSN office to apply again??

still no updates and no signs of EAD an AP, contacted my congressman today so hopefully it will help. i am tired of this waiting game...

I just got EAD update a few minutes ago "New Card Is Being Produced", no update for AP yet....wow...so happy!!!

Hi everyone,

I got both approval notices for EAD and AP today (i-797), no update card was mailed yet.

I just checked my i-765 form which was filed by the attorney, he filed using the old form which did not have SSN request checkbox, my question is:

- can I go to SSA office to apply for SSN with i-797 approval notice or I must wait for EAD card in hand to apply SSN?

appreciate if anyone could share your experience, thank you!

@Rmsean just sharing, I got 2 approval notices, 1 for both EAD and AP,  another one for just AP.

what was yours?

got just approval for ap. no ead yet.

My status has been "We are producing your card and will mail it to you" for the past 10 days. I have gotten approval notice in the mail for both EAD and AP and also got a mail containing my SSN during this period but i haven't gotten my EAD CARD yet. Anyone had to wait over 10 days before getting EAD in hand?? This is getting frustrating.

My online status updated to 'card was mailed' yesterday and I also received the approval notices in the mail.

 

I just spoke to an USCIS agent on the live chat function to get the tracking number so I can hopefully figure out if they're sending it to my new or old address once it's in the USPS system.

Combo card received in the mail today along with my SSN. Overall it's been pretty smooth since the 'we are producing your card' update exactly a week ago. Also relieved that my change of address went through OK - had seen some horror stories on this forum of things being sent to the old address.

Did you file new form i-765 so you got SSN along with combo card? My attorney filed an old form i-765 which did not have a checkbox for SSA request

Yep, it was the newer form so it was all done for me through USCIS.

LUCKY YOU..Card has been in production for over 2 weeks for  me.. Still haven't received the combo card.
