Received combo card yesterday!

Timeline:

PD - 12/29/17

Approved- 5/11/18

Status changed to "card mailed to me" - 5/17/18

Card received - 5/19/18

Congrats!!

Question @cumulonimbus, when you got your combo card approved, did they mail you a letter or did your status change on the USCIS website?

I filed on January 11th and everytime I check on the USCIS website the only thing that says is that the case was received on January 11th.

This is the website I use to track my status.

Thank you.

Yes, my status changed to "card in production" on the approval date for just the EAD. Then this week received notifications of approval of the EAD & AP in the mail (2 separate envelopes). The only status that has been changing is the EAD. My AP still appears as "case was received" although it has been approved.

Hope this helps! @DanielTan

True... this is crazy. Can you imagine banks or any other places taking months to process things?! I do feel very lucky about the interview, and even the officer said that this is really early to get an interview. 6 months is early. Hahaha... I do live in North Carolina, not a ton of people move here...lol

Oh wow!  NC is where we are living...  which office is hosting your interview?

Just an update..... last Wednesday,  I received text message that an update to my I-485.  I checked the case tracker, and indeed an interview had been scheduled.  The secured tracker still has no updated information.   The letter came today, showing our interview on June 25.  Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting....

Got a copy of response that USCIS in response to my congresswoman's inquiry about my case. Total useless, couldn't give me a timeline. Basically said a small percentage of cases involve unresolved issues and cause adjudication delays. Didn't even tell me what the issue is. Just so infuriating how incompetent they are. Pending 170 days.

I was going to suggest to my hubby that we write to our congressperson but I don't even know if it's worth it.
