Well friends... just like the visa approval, here we are at the end of the waiting list for our month group. No emails, no updates, nothing. A few weeks ago, they told him to call back on May 1st, so he'll be calling tomorrow.

But what is this I see about different trackers?? We have been checking the standard USCIS website tracker. Is there something else we're missing?

1. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

2. https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Create an account and add your cases as paper filed cases (This one has been more accurate in my case)

Removal of Conditions Timeline

03/31/20    - Sent ROC package to Dallas, TX by USPS.

04/02/20    - Delivered to Dallas, TX by USPS.

04/08/20    - Received text message from USCIS stating original receipt to follow in mail and a receipt number starting with SRC

04/09/20    - Check for $680 cashed for USCIS Dallas

04/13/20    - Received I-797 NOA for I751 ROC which extends expired Green Card by 18 months

We went in for the AOS interview yesterday. We were scheduled for 9:45, but we got there a bit early. We went in at about 9:30, went through the security check and were told to check in. The immigration officer was already waiting for us at the window, and he told me that I would go in with him and later he'll bring my husband in too. We went into his office, I was sworn in, and then he checked my identity (passport, drivers license, fingerprints, photo). Before we started, he let me know that he won't be able to give me approval on the spot because the original K1 application was missing from the file and he had put in a request to get it from another office. He then went over my application asking for my name, date of birth and confirming a lot of information I had put in initially. Most of the questions had yes or no answers. He then asked about how my husband and I had met. That was it. No need for any of the documents I prepared, they did not even talk to my husband. We were in and out in half an hour. We're now waiting for my file to be complete so that they can approve it. The tracker changed this morning to "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed". Good luck everyone, hopefully, more approvals will come soon.

Anybody here waiting for more than 138+ days? today marks my 140th day waiting. Yesterday morning I got two emails Saying

"We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time"

with the date i took my fingerprints as the day they last took action on my case. Should I call them?

I don't know exactly how many days it is (it's too depressing to count) but our NOA1 is December 6th and we're still waiting. He was told the wait is now 5 months and to call May 1st (today) to check again. :clock:

I see that you've been waiting for about 145 days. Did you raise SR ?

Planning on raising another SR on day 150 in 2 days (since that will be the inquiry date on their processing time on their website), does anybody know if phone call talking to tier 2 officer is more effective than an online SR? Or if online SR is more effective?

I'll call on day 150. Waiting for the 5 months. Talking to a level 2 officer is better, they have another type of SR, which they respond faster. If you do online SR, it will start with T1, Level 2 officers starts with another letter (example WD) and they can tell you any other status of your case.

You shouldn't need an EAD or AP to get a drivers' license. I got my DL in my current state of residence before starting the K1 Visa process (I was ~6 months "on vacations" in the US and then returned abroad for K1 and re-entered on K1).

I just had to sign a form at the DMV/DOL swearing I didn't have a SSN, and provide proof of address/residence (bank account statement, cable bill with my name on it), and then the DMV/DOL sent me a letter to my home address and asked me to return to the DMV/DOL when I had that letter (to prove I really lived at that address).

When I returned with the letter proving I lived at that address, they gave me a temporary/learners' permit (they didn't recognize my DL from my Province), went to do a road test with a local driving school a few days later and then got my full 5yr DL.

This was in Washington State.
