We put in a service request with USCIS customer service yesterday to get an update on the EAD (now at 78 days).  They said it could take 15-30 days for a response but is often sooner, they may respond by email, phone call, or letter.  Fortunately as of today we're exactly 1 month away from our interview but seems EAD processing has been stuck in November for some time now.

Please post an update if you get one. We are at 68 days and haven't heard anything about EAD, AP or AOS

I am at 79. Since 12th, it is with adjudicator as Tier 2 indicated. I really need it to be approved this week so I will lose the job. I hope I will hear smt from congressman or ombudsman or uscis itself.

When did you call and speak to a Tier 2? I would like to call but don't want to do it too early. Thanks!

I have talked to Tier 2 about my request to expedite on 12th or 13th. If I didn't have a job offer, and they didn't want me to start in the beginning of March, I would prefer to wait until 90th day. But, calling doesn't hurt, you can try...

Hello December filers:-

We are January 2018 filers who are trying to plan our next few weeks in terms of the job search etc. We heard that some of you who are adjusting status through marriage have already received your EAD. If you received your EAD in less than 90 days, can you please put a short response here along with the visa you’re adjusting from (e.g K-1, H-1B, etc)?

Thanks!

Hi,

This thread is for people adjusting from K-1 and K-3 visas. Actually, I haven't heard of anyone who got approved EAD other than one or two expedited cases. But maybe I missed. I hope that helps...

Yup.. the few people who have gotten their EADs approved were expedites.. interviews have been scheduled for some of us.. but no approvals yet..   you should plan for EAD after 90 days..

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS

Yeah, I haven't seen anyone mention receiving their EAD that filed in December not counting expedites. I've found the EAD timeline table handy for keeping track, sorting by Approved and Card Received columns. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadlist.php?cfl=0&op1=app&op2=d&op4=1&op5=4,7,11,12

I have heard of someone getting their ead and their advance parole and their timeline was 2 weeks ahead of mine (I actually text with this girl from visa journey as our timelines were so close to each others along our journey)

I submitted my forms December 13 my bio was Jan 12 and I'm still waiting on was day 70 it says on the tracker.. my tracker hasn't updated after my finger prints for my ead. My friend is in Idaho so i think it depends on your state or city. I'm in Chicago and have a feeling it may take much longer for my ead. She received her letter at the end of January ! So under 2 months !

My i485 status on the tracker actually updated to interview ready for scheduling ..But nothing since. It Made me wonder why my ead didn't update. Hopefully soon!

Seems like activity for us December folks has pretty much died. We are still at "received" status for all three (AOS, AP & EAD).

It is 85 days for me now. They didn't expedite my case based on the reason that it is already with adjudicator. But, if that is true, it is with adjudicator for 14 days. They didn't care about congressional inquiry as well, because my congressman told me that they didn't respond.  The good thing is that company will wait for me -I guess- because they have already done arrangements like my computer and other stuff. I hope we will start to hear smt this week.
