I just looked up your local office San Diego processing time on USCIS, and it seems it’s one of the fast offices, I think you should be good! My office is LA, and it’s one month behind your office but as far as I know LA office is pretty fast.

Well that would be wonderful if it was the case but so far we haven't heard a thing.  It's only been 60 days and I wasn't expecting to hear this quickly, but there seems to be a lot of movement from other field offices so of course I'm keeping an eye on it.  Whatever gets my husband the ability to work and travel the quickest is what we are hoping for!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  We've finally received our interview date!  Still no movement on EAD/AP, case is still in it's initial 'received' status.  I suppose it serves little to no purpose at this point -- anyone know if it's best to just wait to obtain driver's license, etc after the interview when the green card is in hand?  I'm assuming the drivers license will be set to expire in one year based on the EAD expiration?  Hope you all have updates soon!

AOS Chicago (I-130, I-485, I-131 AP, I-765 EAD)
12/1/17 - Mailed (Fedex)
12/5/17 - Delivered, Received date
12/8/17 - Notice date on all forms
12/12/17 - Text Msgs for all forms, checks cashed
12/16/17 - NOA1 hard copy arrived (I-797C)

12/26/17 - Bio done (via walk-in), 1/3/17 Original Bio Appt date
1/8/18 - RFIE I-485 (birth certificate missing)
1/22/18 - RFIE response received by USCIS
1/31/18 - Ready for interview to be scheduled
2/14/18 - Interview scheduled for 3/21/18 (Raleigh)

Nice! Congrats! My local office is also in Raleigh. Based on your timeline, it seems like they are processing times are pretty fast! May I ask what status you are adjusting from?

Thanks!  Definitely grateful things are moving along, adjusting from B2 visa.

I am glad. Hopefully it goes smoothly! How long did it take for your paperwork to be transferred from NBC to Local office?

Actually not certain when that occurs?  From NOA1 (12/5/17) to the date the interview was scheduled (2/14/18)?

I am not sure either. Wow they processed your case fast! Please, keep me posted about the interview.

Hey guys!

Yesterday (saturday) I received my AOS appointment letter.. It is dated Jan 13 even though in myuscis it says Jan 15..  I just wanted to post it here in case anyone was curious as to what it says..

Pretty much it says bring everything you submitted with your application and if you didn't submit something you were supposed to, bring that too

Im just a little worried about the evidence.. Since I came in only 2 months ago we haven't put anything on my name yet.. we only have a bank account together from before..

anyways.. here is the notice
