I have a received date of December 15 and Fingerprints received Dec 20. Still waiting for the Biometrics appointment..

For what I've seen with the others I am expecting it to arrive this week for an appt for late next week^_^ We will see how my prediction go..

We got our appointment letter on Friday and his Biometrics appointment is 1/26.  We are in Southern California and I think our field office is one of the busier ones.  Progress!  :)

Quick update, we received an RFE (dated 1/8/18 for I-485) requesting her Brazilian birth certificate.  Since Brazil kept her birth certificate, replaced it with a marriage cert, and eventually divorce certificate we hoped it would suffice since it includes much of the same information as the birth cert.  I'm planning to contact USCIS customer service Tuesday to explain the situation since Saturday hours apparently stopped?  Worst case we're hopeful family in Brazil can obtain the birth certificate and email it to us ASAP.  Hope you're all well and best wishes in 2018!

It seems the EAD timeline is progressing into mid November for some, fingers crossed we're up to bat soon...

Well, the positive thing is you got an RFE pretty quick which means they are already working on your stuff which is fantastic!  Good luck with your call to USCIS.  I hope it's something you can work around pretty easily.  Keep us posted!

Two days ago, I received RFE (That I-130A was missing from my application). But haven't  heard anyone that have included this in their application. Is this something I need to worry about?

I don't think we did that....  Uh oh...

Just did a walk-in biometrics today.. the staff was pretty friendly and looked like this was not unusual.

Also the officer thanked me for “being ready with all my documents” since I gave him the marriage certificate whenever he asked about the last name change ;)  so THANK YOU to whoever made the recommendation!

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS

Just tried to walk in for an early biometric appointment today in LA and was rejected by staff working there.  They told me there is a reason why you have an appointment date in a really nice way... I said I read online that people sometimes do early walk-ins, she didn't reply... But don't be discouraged, I think Monday is just a not a good day for this, although the whole place was totally empty besides me and another party..........

Just walked in and did my fingerprint. No questions asked. Nothing. The men were just nice. Didn’t take up to 15 minutes. Got there very early though at 8am.
