Looks like USCIS has gone bongers!

Last week, there was a glitch in the system and I had multiple updates on the website saying that my interview was scheduled.

Yesterday I got 6 interview letters with the same information!

 

And, my ECD changed from May to June and now July 2018.

Just got an update that our interview was scheduled for April 26th at 10:50! Can someone update me, I’m on my phone for the next week.

The feeling that every single letter might contain something different was stressful enough. 
It could have been additional documents or change of date or time.

Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview. You can determine your field office here.

ECD: Estimated completion date as reported in USCIS website for your case

Great news indeed. Fresno has an 8-14 month processing time range listed according to the new system. Sacramento has a 9.5-13 month range. I sent in my application just over a week after you. Hmm...

I believe you are filing under the 3 year rule (you are eligible to apply after 3years if GC is through marriage).  So based on my unscientific assumptions after reading through past threads,  your application was given priority because 1) you've been eligible since 2016  2)maybe you also have an edge because you filed online.   Online applications have historically been processed faster when comparing similar NOAs and the same field offices.  Again, this is just speculation.

I think online filing is definitely processed faster than paper filing. The selection criteria for processing few online petitions in 3-4 months is still a mystery. I found out in Houston FO, out of 5 total quick online petitions, 4 were EB1/EB2 GC, 1 was a marriage to EB1/EB2 GC. Not enough cases to conclude for sure if the selection criteria for faster processing is random or with any merits.

I am an EB2 GC from 2008 eligible since 2013. Clean history, personal/business trips to major Asian and EU nations only, continuously employed in tech, no tax arrears, no divorce / child support concerns. I would hope mine goes through fast too. My GC background check wasn't delayed, as far as I can remember (but it was 10 years ago)

SO Why didn’t you wait that long  to apply , now you have to wait for long time
